Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

I didn't add up my time for the week yet.

Carrie, have a good time at the event and hoping for a speedy event for you too.

Challenge, I'll see what I can do.

Hey Team!

Finally got the long run in!

8.5 miles (in the rain, no less) and no walking breaks. WOO HOO! Total time with warm-up and stretching = 1:40 Pace = 10:54

Hey warriors, sorry i've not been on for a couple of days!

Last run was 11/13 (eeh that date looks weird to me!) 3.1 miles 26mins and just quick 5 min stretch. That makes last weeks total a little 17.1miles and 174 mins :(
Went for a swim this morning 0.46 miles in 25 mins.

Erika wow for getting back to it with such a massive run!

Tracy as for your challenge i have a 10km booked in for early december. Not sure if anything else yet- might be pushing it as i am officially back in physio :rotfl: Great distances by the way and fab way to try to boost our miles.

Becky 10.1miles!!!!! Wahooooooo

barbara another brilliant run and time. Has it been a long week? Hope your weekend's been thoroughly relaxed

Roxy they were some miles to report- one over 16miles :scared1: you are truly a gold star warrior.

Amy fab work getting in 8.3miles where you could, that's a huge distance and time so :woohoo:

Jim i would be envious of your lovely weather but actually i quite like autumn over here!

Ken you're numbers are massively higher, great effort getting all that time in.

Carrie i don't know how you manage to find any time to exercise with all that stuff going on. That's pretty inspiring to me

Lily i know how are these weeks running up to christmas vanishing so quickly

Hope i haven't missed anyone!

Hi Warriors (slinking in).
I know I've bee MIA, trying to keep up where I can, reading that is. Things have been crazy - new assignments at work/etc..... anywho, I know it's been a while since I posted (honestly don't remember when  , sorry) so I'm going to post stats from Oct till this past Friday.

Happy training and I'm hopin' to be here a tad more.

WeekEnding:
10/10 - 9 miles, 125 minutes
10/17 - 9.5 miles, 200 minutes
10/24 - 4 miles, 90 minutes
10/31 - 10.5 miles, 215 minutes
11/7 - 3 miles, 60 minutes (not a good week :confused3 )
11/14 - 5 miles, 95 minutes

Hello Warriors...

DId my 9 miles this morning as part of my Half Marathon training.
Time: 2hrs 12min.
5min warmup and 10 min cool down and stretching.

OK who else is in for a WARRIOR end of the year challenge.
SIgn up for a race before the end of the year to give our team more points!!!!
Come on Warriors, we can do this.!!!!!!

Happy Sunday Warriors!!

Was not able to put in any miles yesterday. The weather was all over the place. Cloudy/Windy/HOT/Clear/Sunny/Rainy & cool in the evening. Ugh. It was like Mother Nature had schizophrenia.

Today - Nice & cool. Sunny. Breezy. If there were a few clouds it would have been almost perfect.

Running 6 minutes/Walking 1 I put in 14 miles in 2:23 for a 10:12/mile pace.

Actually that was (much) quicker than I had planned. I am hoping for the Goofy to keep a 10:45 - 10:50 pace over the 2 races.

I'm in! I have already signed up for the California International Marathon on 12/7! We are doing the relay! Although I myself will only be doing 5-7 miles (depending on which leg I do) I get to post the whole 26.2 right??? :lmao: :rolleyes1 Oh...alright...10-14 will have to do!

I failed to post my Wed miles. Not much, my running club had time trials. Total mileage was 2 miles. Not sure of time since we start and stop, start and stop, etc.

Tonight I was able to get to the gym. 30 minutes of weights and 35 minutes on the treadmill. 2.65 miles.

Good evening Warriors! Yesterday I did 6 miles and 89:31 minutes. Today I did 3.34 miles in 50 minutes.

My totals for last week are: 11.68 miles and 170:33 minutes.

I didn't know washing my car and cleaning my house counted. I could have contributed some serious minutes. LOL

Hey Warriors!

A very bundled Milo and I did 3 miles Sunday- I don't know how you cold weather people do it- it was 48 degrees and I thought I was going to keel over! May have had something to do with my refusal to wear long pants running... ;)

I'm in on the Challenge! I'm signing up for the "Double Pump" in Savannah on Dec. 6. It's a 5k and then 10k- you go over a huge bridge 3 times. So 9 miles and bridges. It's important to sign up for something that hard on minimal training. Becky isn't available, so now I'm a bit panicked- I've gone from being a perfectly content loner runner to freaking out because I won't have a running buddy! The t-shirt better be fabulous...

Hey hey,

Just had all my leg problems worked out by a physio so at least i know what's going on now! Yay. Went for a 3.1mile run on sunday (28mins plus 5 stretch), did 15 mins of stretching on monday, then 5.4mile run today (49mins plus 10 stretch).

Keep it up guys

Good evening Warriors! Today I did 3 miles and 37 minutes.

Great news Kate! Keep at it Warriors!!!!!

Good job Warriors. If I don't get a race event I will at least do extra miles to make up for the double-mileage credit. I'm really not sure I can maintain the minimum time requirement for those events that are available here this time of year. I don't mind being DLF, I just want someone to be there letting me be that one.

I'm back. San ANtonio was great, but race organizers have a LOT of logistics to work out. Did a 2:21 half. 2nd best time for me. Yay!

End of teh year race challenge? Not easy in MI. I am signed up for a run through the lights 5K on Dec 4.

Will try to catch up better tomorrow.

3 miles in about 40 minutes Tuesday.

Carrie- you need to come to South Georgia for the winter! I had 5 races to choose from for December 6- all within a reasonable driving range. It's the summer that gets hard...;)

I'm so excited it's almost Thanksgiving break- I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll be able to get in some good runs.

ALso don't forget (and we can get with Carrie on this) but you can post time for things like washing and waxing you car, doing yardwork, housecleaning, Putting up chirstmas decorations!!
Actually, teh clarification I was givne by Dave is that outdoor stuff counts, but indoor doesn't. :guilty: I guess he's never seen me power clean. ;)

Hey Warriors!!
I forgot to post my miles from yesterday after work.
A chilly 4 miles (for me) was 64 degrees. 58min 27sec.

END OF THE YEAR RACE CHALLENGE:
Me - 5K
Kate - 10K
Michelle - 5-7 miles
Jen in GA - 10K
Carrie: 5K

Who else is in??? Come on Warriors join in!!

Tracy

Way to go Warriors on signing up for the events! Ummm, I'll try to ask about one that might work for me if they keep it open longer/or allow an early start.
