Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

This is going to be a quick one as i'm at work! 8.6mi 120mins, no stretching as i was in such a hurry. Might regret that tommorow! Also another 2 mile walk at work, 32 mins.

yesterday 6 mile run 58 mintues
2 hour mowing and trimming in the yard
today 4 mile run 40 minutes

Nice job Roxy!!

I finally got in my 4miles after the rain from FAY let up.
55min 28sec. Add in 10 min of foam roller (my right hamstring started to bother me at mile and a half. I'm not sure why, but could've been all the hurricane shutter nonsense and my shoulders were bothering me also.)

Take care all you wonderful warriors!!

DOn't know how ROxy adn Jim do it. :faint:

Did 7.98 miles in 40 min on teh bike today. really anxiouss to see what the new bike will do! 2 more days...

w6d1 for me today, about 2.25 miles, in 31:30, this includes intervals, warm up and cool down. Actually felt better when I did the 20 minute run yesterday compared to the intervals today. :confused3

Still dry here, we really only had wind related to Fay...Now they are talking about it coming back across the state over the weekend :confused3

Have a good night!

I'm trying to better about reporting my times... Tonight... 3 miles, and 1hr w/ stretching...

Tomorrow...It's swimming!

I'm having some forced days off. Tropical Storm Fay does not want me to run/bike for a couple of days, maybe through Saturday. This sucker is moving really slowly.

Fortunately, the overall forecast is better for us, but it's still probably going to be a rainy/windy couple of days.......................

spent about 20 minutes today doing some crunches! walk with DD got rained out. :sad2:

Hi everyone,

I have a few days to post for:

8/14 (Thursday) 2.55miles, 34 minutes
Yesterday 2 miles, 30 minutes
Tonight 2.05 miles, 35 minutes

Hello!

I was going to swim tonight, but decided to bike w/ my SIL. We had a nice leisurely ride. 6 miles, 45 min. :thumbsup2

Stacie

I did some walking on the beach in soft sand. I also included some bending over to pick up shells and sea glass. 2.07 miles and 40 minutes

Hi everyone...

Last night I did 2.05 miles, 35 minutes, with 5 minutes stretching.

Hope everyone has a nice day!

Hello Warriors!!

Did 4 miles at Mount Trashmore, 59min20sec. About 10min warmup/down.

Kirby dog and I did a lovely stroll today. It was a beautiful day once again. August has been perfect weather here.

Sorry about Fay getting in the way of training. I hope that water all soaks into those dry spots though.

Walking on the beach picking up shells is the best! I always make sure to do the beach walk/wog/crawl during our spring vaca time.

Hi Team--

Great workouts everyone!

Yesterday = 30 minutes elliptical; 40 minutes of tennis for 70 total

Today = (drum roll, please....) 11 MILE RUN! Next week I have a 12 mile run scheduled and then I get to taper for my half. Phew! These long runs are killing me! And I still have no confidence that I will be able to complete a half!

I am playing around with fueling and this week was so much better than last, so that is good.

So today's totals =

11 miles
2:15 with stretching, etc.

I feel like Jim posting today. This is a time and distance record for a during the week work out for me.

27 miles on teh bike in 1:48. Oh, I think I did another 3 or so on teh test ride, but not sure. Yeah, I like my new bike. :teeth:

I'm with Jim- we're getting the nasty weather now. Lots of rain and some wind- could be a whole lot worse, but still annoying. Ted wanted to go walking this morning, but I told him not to push his luck with all the pine trees around (plus Harry and I had to get in the car to find him yesterday to bring an umbrella!)

Barb-
I totally understand your fears, but you ran 11 miles today! You can totally take on your half. :woohoo:

Proud of everyone else working out! And go, Carrie, with your new bike- I kind of wanted one when I was watching the bike races on the Olympics, but then I saw the BMX stuff yesterday, and just watching made my entire body hurt...
