Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

3disneykids: Great job on the 10 miler!!!

Lily: Oh yeah, yard work counts!!

Did 20 min of pilates core work.

ANY OTHER Warriors going to do the DL 1/2 besides Michelle and I????

Tracy

3 miles walking- probably a little under an hour. I really didn't want to go, but feel better for it. I don't know our time because I forgot to ask Ted- he's become very attached to my Garmin, which is perfect because I want the newer model.;)

I forgot to tell everyone-- we have a cabin booked at Fort Wilderness for the Race for the Taste weekend!!!! Right now I'm telling myself I am not signing up for the Race and just going to enjoy the weekend... I don't think we've been to Disney in the last year if it wasn't for a race!

Tracy- I think Becky and her sister Jen will be at the DL 1/2. They're a lot of fun. I'm so jealous of everyone going- I want lots of details/pictures in your race reports!:woohoo:

5 miles run yesterday (speed drills yuck) 45 minutes
4.20 mile run today nice and easy 41 minutes

GREAT JOB everyone!!!!

good evening warriors. I'm just in from my 8.1mile run which took 74mins and was followed by 10mins stretching.

Rest day tomorrow so total for the week: 28.7miles, 291mins. Oh it was a good week!!!!

Nice Week Kate; BTW loved seeing your fellow Brit win the Women's Road Race in Cycling last weekend!!

I did my 4 miles tonight inbetween storms.
TIme 57min and 2sec.

Tracy

2.25 miles tonight 30 minutes, includes warm up and cool down.

I did W5D2 of C25K and twice ran .75 miles without walking (about 8 ish minutes each time) :woohoo: :woohoo: I felt pretty good, it wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be. W5D3 will be a 20 minute run with no walks!. :scared1: :scared1:

Today: 7.75 mile run in 79 minutes, followed by a .9 mile cool off walk in 15 minutes.

Way to Go Warriors!

Jen, you know I don't know how you could pass the temptation of doing the event--Unless, you've already done it. Then I guess I could pass. Have fun whatever you decide.

No yard work this week for me. I am putting some steps in at least.

Did 3 extremely slow walking miles this morning, so 12 for the week.

Lily- Yep, I'm a little worried I won't be able to resist! My first sort of "huh... maybe I could do that..." moment came after learning about the Race for the Taste 3 years ago. Still haven't done it, but kind of want to for closure (and the medal- could the utensils be any cuter??) I'll just have to wait until the last minute to decide...

Hi Jen :wave2: I am gonna be at RFTT - we can walk it together if you want ;) I promise not to push you like I did at Minnie! The medal is really cool - you should do it. How old will your baby be then? I just talked Mike into going down for Everest race - living only a 6 hour drive away really has its perks!!

Becky

Hi Warriors....
Got in 3.15 miles this morning.
Time was 43min 43sec (kinda funny)

Amy: Nice job with the running with no walking.

Have a good Friday, Tracy

Happy Friday Warriors!

30 minutes of stretching and exercise ball DVD. I don't think I liked it as much as the pilates but they did show some good ab exercises!

Have a good weekend everyone!

today 26.1 mile bike ride in 1:35. I did the "Olympic Tri" distance (24.8) in 1:28:30, then just coasted home from there............

I'm off to the beach!!!! I plan on getting in as many miles and minutes as I can.

My weekly totals are: 13.15 miles and 206 minutes.

Have a great weekend Warriors!!!!

Tracy thanks for your GB support! I just saw the coxless four men rowing race and got ridiculously excited!!! Don't even really like rowing :goodvibes Have to admit the US are generally an awesome sight. Lol, i love your time for the last workout. You're going to have such a great time at DL, sorry there aren't more warriors to play with!

Barb that was a great week, ohh enjoy the beach. i challenge you to make a warrior sandcastle.

Jim i just saw your cycle... that was nearly my entire week in one workout!!! :worship:

Amy well done tryin the exercise ball, i just used to bounce on mine... needless to say it's now in the garage. Go abs  Also so proud of you for completing W5D2 of C25K- brilliant effort.

Roxy :woohoo: for your speed drills! How's your foot doing these days? From your workouts im guessing it's doing ok!!!

Just 30 mins of stretch and rollering today... i WILL become a stretchy! Lots of tender points so hopefully the rollering is doing it's job.
Jen fab work getting 12 miles in, you're doing so well especially to get yourself out when you weren't feelin it.

Hey Captain Carrie? Is putting up Hurricane Shutters considered XT?? I sure do hope so. I have already spent 40min putting up the rails on all the windows and shutters on 3 windows trying to figure if Fay is heading my way.

(I know, we tend to be over prepared due to the fact that my Father owns an ACE Hardware store and will be busy until the last moment. My Brother and Mom also work there. So, My brother and father don't have much time to get the houses ready until the last minute, so we tend to over prepare or prepare sooner than others. We also get my house (with parents), my brother's house and Grandma's apartment all ready and then check on my sister's house to see if they need any help. Better to be over prepared and not rushing at the end for us.)

Tracy I think the shutters should count! that is alot of work! We're debating if when/if we should put up our plywood. At the moment the track is pretty close us.

7 mile run yesterday 1:08
9 mile run today 1:30 nice and slow is the only way to go:rotfl:

Have a great weekend warriors:)

amy, tracy and i guess jim too i'll be watching the weather warnings and thinking of you. Hope Faye fizzles out to nothing, but you're def right it's better to be prepared. Eek, the downside of living in the magical florida i guess :sad2:

Hello Fellow Warriors.

I did my taper 6 miles this morning. Time was 1hr 26min 12sec.

Have a good Sunday. (Hoping Fay stays away)
