Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Hey Warriors! :yay:

60 minutes total today (Pilates and 2 mile walk with DD)

As far as weekly totals go, when do our weeks start and stop?

Amy :)

Sorry to let you down Warriors but I don't have any miles to report for last week. My back is feeling better so I am going to get some miles in on Sunday. We are moving my son and his wife into their new home tomorrow so I should get a good workout.

Erika, you look amazing!!!!!

Kate, thanks for always being so supportive.

Carrie, my next race is October 5th in Maine.

Enjoy your weekend Warriors!!!!!

Hi Warriors, didn't get a chance to post my time from last night. Got home and then got into watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics!!

4 miles in 57min 8sec. Also add 5 min stretching.

Take care and GO USA!!

He he hate to be controversial... GO TEAM GB!!!!

(sorry tracy, you guys can be my second team)

After work today i went to the gym to make sure i got those crucial bikey miles in this week. Did 3.1 miles on TM with warm up and cool took 32min, then cycled 7miles in 30mins and stretched for 10. Total miles= 10.1 mins= 72

OK, once again I'm trying to jump back on the band wagon. This week I did 21.07 m.

I got about 20minutes in the pool before the rain and lightening came a calling.
Then just now I did about 5 min of foam rolling.

13 miles on tap tomorrow!! Yeah for me :confused3 . I hope to get out early and not get caught in the rain.

Tracy

Happy Saturday Warriors !!

Just finished a 9 Hour DRIVE home today, so obviously no run/walk/bike/swim today.

Just a really sore............................ um, well, uh.............

Going to try to hit the road again tomorrow.

Everyone is doing great!!!!

BTW, as of Friday, I am now officially really frightfully freakin' old.

I'm so thankful I neither feel or act that way.......... :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Updating with my last 2 weeks totals:

Yeah, Today I did 13.10 miles!!! (as part of my DL 1/2 training, not like I just go out and do that all the time or something. :) )
It wasn't pretty I have to admit. Feels like temp of 92 when I got home. Humidity at 61% and no real breeze for most of the walk.
Time was 3 hours and 20 min.

Have a good Sunday everyone and now it's time to taper!!!

Tracy

Hi Warriors. We (me, Jeff, and DD) did the 5K this morning.

Jeff, PR'd 5k in 30:24 :cool1:

DD and me, did 2 miles in 45 min. She was doing very good for her first race, and I kept her going when she wanted to give up, but just after mile 2, she took a spill, and well, that was it. She said she had fun, and we are very proud of her.

We all walked to and from it, so did an additional .5miles too!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Tracy :cool1: :woohoo: :woohoo: for your 13 miler! I know how hot and humid it was in FL this weekend. Enjoy the taper!

Stacey, Jeff Sounds like your 5K went well! That's so great that DD participated!:)

3 miles, 44:15 today includes 5 minute warm up and Super Slow mile long cool down.

Hey Warriors!

Did a total of 12 walking miles last week. Did a little over 3 this morning. My theory is that the more I waddle now, the easier it will be to get started again... that's really all that keeps me motivated.

Speaking of motivation, it turns out we just might be at Disney the same weekend as the Race for the Taste because Emma has a little fall break... would it be completely insane to even consider trying to do a 10k after having a baby 6-8 weeks before?? I'm so tempted, but I think I might be crying in all my race photos provided I even make it to the start. I'm going to wait until the last minute to make any decisions, but if we do go, at least I can put on my WISH shirt and scream team!:cheer2:

Sounds like everyone is doing great!

Nothing to report today. just stopping by to ask for some PD for DD. She came down with pink eye, and an ear infection AND she has that kidney reflux that she was tested for last week. We have to take her to a pediatric urologist. None of these things are really serious, but all together at once is overwhelming and makes for a stressed out mommy!

W5D1 for me tomorrow!
