Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Michelle: You go girlfriend, no wonder why you are walking funny!! (soon to be my DL 1/2 friend!)

Jim: Hey sorry the rain stopped your WO. It rained some here yesterday but it was a rest day for me. I got up this morning to walk before the rain comes. It is supposed to be a 60% chance today and getting worse as the day goes on. So far its nice outside but very humid/

I did 4 miles in 56min39sec. ALso add 10min for the warmup/down and stretches.

hey pipermae! Welcome to the warriors.

I tend to pop over to report all my activities after i've done them (it provides some extra satisfaction!) and then my week totals every friday. As tracy said tho, do whatever's easier for you.

Today we hit 27oC which is boiling for NW england. Bizarrely it was also quite blustery and the combination didn't make for great running conditions. Kept going for 3miles tho which took 26 mins.

Last month was kind of a slack off/ burn out month for me. I just did not feel like doing much. I think I need to find an event to participate in soon to give me a reason to push more.

That being said, I did find a 5K to do nearby in a couple of weeks, so maybe that will help.

I'll announce it to the Warriors here ( so as to not crap out...................):

I am setting a goal of running at least 100 miles this month & biking at least 200.

And getting my lazy butt in the water. A lot.

You heard it here first.

So this morning I did 34.7 bicycle miles in 2:04. I was going to run this afternoon, but the storms may prevent that.

Btw, Welcome to the Warriors Pipermae!

t- 100 run / 165.3 bike

JimB as lazy....:lmao: ....now THAT is funny! You are a true Warrior!

Today was a cross-train day for me, so I did 90 minutes of strength training. 0 miles.

I am reporting 30 minutes of Pilates/core work this evening. I did alot of this :rotfl2: .

5.6 miles today

That and an hour-long boxing class brings me to 2 hours for today.

I finally got in my "long run" last night. I had been skipping them since I was training for the tri. But the good news is I took 10 minutes off my time from the last time I did this distance! :woohoo: I was so excited!

So add 6 miles in 1:18 for me!

Have a great extended weekend!
