Walton's Family Reunion on The Today Show today

I loved watching The Waltons when I was a kid. It'll be fun to see the reunion on The Today Show this morning.

Usually when they have a reunion on the today show... I am left unhappy... they never seem to talk to the casts enough. This time they did a great job.

That was the first thing my mom said to me about the show!

I loved it! I wish the cast would get together and do a reunion movie too!

They have done several TV movies. I think the last one was back in '97, though. They did do a special in n2010 that was on the INSP channel. That was jsut them talking about the show and stuff. It was good, though! Richard Thomas was not there, but he did tape something for it.

Re the Today show: I had to leave for work before it came on. I hope it's on their website; I wanted to see it.

Not sure about any surgeries, but she is temporarily filling in for one of the actresses on The Young and the Restless.

Yes, I know. I would just like another one.

I have the Christmas album (on vinyl) they did back in the 70's, and I have their Christmas CD they did in...I just had to go look at the date...1999. I didn't realize it had been 12 years already since they put that one out!

I've got the 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD, also The Homecoming which started the show back in 1971,and just got their Movie Collection. It's always been one of my favorite shows, and as they said today in the interview, it's been 40 years but still people love it.

He was on Days of our Lives a year or two ago, he played a priest or minister (not sure what religion).

I thought he had passed away, but I was mistaken. Looks like he was most recently on Bones and has a standing guest role on NCIS. Maybe since he's working for another network, he couldn't appear on the Today Show?

I was surprised how many times Richard Thomas rudely interrupted Michael Learned while she was replying to the interviewer's question to her.
