This is my 14th trip in 10 years and I'm not getting tired of it. Our plane was taking off to Orlando at 7:55 P.M., so I had the entire day to get ready. I got up at 12 and started to get packing, after that I realized that my battery from my camera was dead, so I went Best Buy and bought a new one. At 4:00 we drove to the Philly International airport. At 5 we got there and parked our car. We got in the terminal and went past security. We had dinner at Airport food court. (Anyone that goes to Florida from Philly eat at Flamer's, the best burgers!). At 7:30 we were on the plane and in 30 minutes we were off.
We landed on Orlando at 10:00 at night. We got our bags and got our minivan rental car. After that we were on our way to WDW. We made it into the resort but got lost making our way somehow to the Animal Kingdom Parking Lot. we turned around and in a couple minutes later we were at the check in desk at the Polynesian. We got a second floor lagoon view in the Hawaii building. We got all our bags in the room and then we realized that there was no balcony. My Dad wanted a balcony so he called the desk and we got on the third with even greater view.
It was about 1:00 when we all went to sleep. Tomorrow we are going to the magic kingdom and eating at the Polynesian Luau.

Glad to hear you were able to be moved to a room with a balcony. You are now ready to start the adventure - thanks for posting!

nice place too.......I love the luau......hope you did too...........thanks for your beginning of your report.....it is great

Great start! Flying out of Philly in June and can't wait. From near Reading, PA. How was the security at the airport? Off to day two.

Security took us about 20 minutes. The line was very long. There was a straight long line then there was a queue line going back and forth, but it moves pretty fast.

That's a lot of trips!
What's your secret to not getting sick of Disney? I have a 15yo DS and he doesn't care to go anymore after being there every year, he wishes they would get a lot of new things.
I was wondering if your 15 yo DB still enjoys it?
Looks like your all off to a great start, I can't wait to read more!
