How does this work exactly.

If i buy a 7 day base ticket with water park, does that mean I can go to any of the 4 theme parks within that 7 days plus the 2 water parks. Or am I limited on how many times I can go.

Can someone please explain? Thanks

If you are buying a say, 7 day BASE ticket + water parks option, that allows you to visit 1 park per day and/or 1 "fun" admission (water park, Disney Quest, etc.) per day. You need the park hopper option to park hop.

The explanation from Undercover Tourist:

Admission to one or more of the following theme parks for each day of the ticket - 5 "Days" (1 park per day; no hopping between the four parks listed immediately below):

Magic Kingdom®
Epcot®
Disney's Hollywood Studios™
Disney's Animal Kingdom®
Choose a visit to one of the following for each of your 5 "Fun Visits":

Blizzard Beach
Typhoon Lagoon
Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course (tee time reservations are required and subject to availability)
DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park
Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge)

Key Points:
If you were to visit Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon then you have used 2 "Fun Visits". If you visit a Theme Park and then a Water Park (both on the same day or not), that would be 1 "Day" and 1 "Fun Visit" used up.

Ticket expires 14 days after the date of first use - you activate it by entering your 1st park.

Days do not have to be used consecutively.

Water Parks are subject to seasonal closure.

Parking is not included, but the FastPass is; all Disney tickets sold include it.

Visiting more than one Theme Park on the same day requires the "Park Hopper" Option (available above and the tickets cost more). You cannot hop by using 2 days of your ticket to hop on the same day.

On the back of your ticket(s) it will say "W/5 FUN VISITS", because there is not enough room to print "Water Park Fun & More".

If one purchases the no expiration option and, say, 5 Fun Options could one actually visit, over the years nothing but water parks with the fun visits?

With a non-expiring ticket, unused park days and unused "fun visits" never expire due to time, but once they are used, they're used.
But yes, you could use all 5 park days and 2 "fun visits" this trip, and have 3 remaining fun visits for your next trip...
I've heard some people do the non-expiring tickets with water parks to add a few fun visits to future Annual Pass years (instead of paying for the more expensive Premium AP.)

So if i bought the 7 base ticket with water park...I would have 7 days to visit the 4 theme parks and PLUS 7 fun visits to the water parks. Does that mean I can go to the 4 theme parks for 7 straight days and the 2 water parks for 7 straight days expanding it to like a 14 day use...........or does everything have to be used in the 7 days?

With a 7 day base ticket you get 7 admissions to any of the 4 parks. If you go to MK in the a.m. and Epcot in the Pm you will have 2 days deducted from your pass. With the water park option added, you get 7 admissions to them and I think admission to disney quest. If your ticket isn't a non expiring one then you lose any days that are left .

Yes.

If you do not do a water park and a theme park both on the same day, your 7-day MYW ticket with Water Park Fun & More can give you 14 park days. 7 days in theme parks and 7 days in water parks.

This is not correct. Theme park admissions are based on date. There is no way to use two theme park admissions (MK, Epcot, DHS, AK) on the same date. If you go to MK in the morning, it will use a theme park admission. If you go to Epcot later that day, the turnstile system will require that you have the park hopper option to let you in. If you haven't purchased the hopper option, you cannot enter the second park. If you have purchased the hopper option, you will not be charged a second admission when entering Epcot. There is no way to tell the cast member you want to use an extra day from your ticket to enter the second park.

The 7 day MYW ticket with Water Park Fun & More does come with 7 water park, DisneyQuest, or Wide World of Sports admissions. If the no expiration option is not added, these admissions will expire 14 days after the first use of the ticket at any turnstile (theme park, water park, DisneyQuest, or Wide World of Sports). If you use all your theme park days, and are still within the 14 days of first use, you can still continue to use any "fun" admissions you have left.

You can go to a theme park on 7 of the 14 days after your first use of the ticket. They don't have to be consecutive days.

Since you didn't mention the park hopper option, you cannot go to multiple theme parks on the same day.

You can also visit the "fun" options for 7 admissions. The fun options are Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest, or Wide World of Sports. The park hopper has no effect on these fun options. If you want to, you can visit two of them in the same day. However, if you do this, be warned that you'll be charged an admission to each.

You can also visit a "fun" option on the same day you've visited a theme park. For example, you can do Typhoon Lagoon in the morning, then head to Magic Kingdom that afternoon. In this case, you'd use 1 fun admission and 1 theme park admission on that date. If you then stopped at DisneyQuest on that same day, you'd use a second fun admission. This is the case whether you have park hopping or not.
