Not sure what the deal is but I booked 3rd party so only 2 of us on reservations.. I changed it at the resort directly... so my kids could use early moring hours.
I need to add a party member to my reservation and calling MDE didn't solve it. So just checking to make sure I can get her added once we arrive so that she is able to take advantage of all of the perks. Who do I need to speak with?
 
Has anyone had issues reserving dining reservations 60+ days out? This morning was supposed to be 60 days from check in at Swan Reserve (1/7 check-in) and it shows no availability for any restaurants except for the check in day. My reservation is linked correctly. Is this just a Disney IT issue or a Marriott/linking issue?

I am on hold now with Disney (1.5 hours in), but wanted to check here and see if there were any fixes to this issue. Thanks!
 
@DakotaU Did you book a package through disney or through S/D or Marriott. If calling Disney didn't help I'll assume you booked with Marriott or Direct with S/D. I'd call S/D a 407-934-4000 and ask for In-House reservations (M-F 8-5), they should be able to help you.

@Whitney Digges lots and lots of people are complaining about the same issues on this forum, its' not a S/D issue its a Disney IT issue. Try the app on your phone as well as your web browser on a computer. Try enabling private or incognito mode so you are dealing with a clean login without other cookies, etc.
 

I had the same issue, had to call in to reserve dining for +10 and they had to forward me on to guest services. I did find that for the rest of the 60 days out reservations that I was able to make them a few hours before the official 6am EST release time. Probably another glitch!

More Swan Reserve reviews!

We checked in yesterday, and were lucky to get upgraded to a Epcot view — and it’s stunning. We can see MK fireworks from the room too! No microwaves in regular studios it seems.

I’d like to post photos, but I’m still pretty new to Disboards. Doesn’t seem like I can upload from my phone :sad:

For a hotel open for 3, now 4 days, there are some issues. Ceiling light fixtures not working, water damage showing on the ceilings, etc. Didn’t know there was a light on the bed headboard until I saw it here. Ours doesn’t work.
 
@jmcross that seems odd, I wonder why. Staffing shortage, staff still learning the ropes or do they not have all the agreements with these various venders, just seems odd you need to pick it up at the Swan.

Just some info for someone who might need. I rented an ECV and the Swan Reserve informed them to deliver to the Swan. I can pick it up there.

It might be different if you could actually be present for delivery.
I wonder if the ECV company thinks that it is a Disney owned hotel. Disney has only one 'featured' provider. If not Scooterbug, you have to be present at a Disney hotel. Should not be that way with S/D and now Reserve also.

I have my first stay at the Swan coming up this December!

I booked with an AP discount on the Marriott site.
I have an AP voucher that needs to be activated. I plan to Uber from MCO to Swan, arriving around 1:00pm, and walk over to activate the pass at guest relations outside of Epcot.
Can I drop my luggage off at bell services before I check in so I can walk over to activate my pass?
Assuming I can't check in before I activate the pass to avoid losing the discount, plus the room may not be ready that early.

Also, I entered my cc information for a deposit to hold, but do not see any charges yet. Do I need to call for this or is that normal?

Hopefully the things not working are not too troublesome, We have an Epcot view room booked for New Year, good to hear you can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks as well!

It is Gold Mobility. They said they called SR and were told yo drop it off at Swan.

You should be fine, but if you want to call you can. There is a Disney planning center, but I'm not sure if it's open at this time or not. If you want use the SwanDolphin Mobile App click on I'm on Property then look for the Text Us! option ask there, might save you some time.
Are there any Disney bus transportation options from the reserve?
Good question, from my question to them they have buses to/from MK/AK at SR, but if you want to go to DSH or Epcot you'll need to walk over and take the boat, or just walk to either park.

I wanted to edit and add that I got another reply this about 7:44 from somebody else at SDR that said "Buses are available at the Reserve for Magic, Animal, and Disney Springs. Boats can be accessed from the Swan/Dolphin Boat Dock." Kudos to the team member that spelled it out in more detail.

Tip that some might find useful- I was at the Swan and a friend was at the Dolphin this past weekend. Both of us had linked our hotel reservations to MDE and I know mine was definitely on there a couple of days before we left. I got up to book Rise ILL and couldn’t book either of us. Both of our linked reservations had dropped off MDE and we showed as ineligible. We both re-linked them quickly and I was able to get ILL for right after lunch. So the morning of you might want to make sure your reservation is still linked just in case.
 
I’m in a signature suite. It’s a one bedroom suite. I still don’t understand the question about breakfast? The coupons have dates on them, so you use one each day. I don’t think you can redeem a coupon for a different day. Are you trying to give the coupons to someone else? I don’t think you can do that because they do ask for your name / room number I believe? Yes, coupons can be used over at garden grove or fresh (I think that’s the name of the dolphin. One?)
What kind of clothes storage is in the main living area? I see the dresser in the bedroom. Is there a closet? if so where? Thanks!
 
A question for those who've stayed at these hotels recently. When was your card charged? Disney does a one night deposit and then final payment due at check in if I remember correctly. But I booked the Swan a week ago for 11/25-12/3 and I've not even seen any kind of charge yet, even though the booking page said a deposit would be charged at the time of reservation.

I added my boys at check in.
It came off my MDE twice I was over it...
Early moring hours I showed the key... they just let me in.
