Walt Disney World in November?

I meant I went in Mid Nov (13-22), Maybe this "jersey" had been and gone.

Oh, ok digskat ! Now that makes more sense I was wondering....you said "this time frame" in your post and I assumed that to be Jersey week. Glad the crowds dispersed a bit by the time you got there !

Hopefully I will have the same luck...planning to go 11/13 - 11/17; this will be my first time in November, so wasn't sure what to expect.

Does anyone know the dates the schools are off nov 2005? I have friends going down on the 2-8th (trying to beat the crowds) and was wondering if this will be jersery week.

We went in Nov.2003 and plan to go again this Nov. during Jersey Week. The weather was beautiful. We were able to swim and wear shorts but it was not that terrible Fla. hot. Crowds were low. The Food and Wine Festival was wonderful. We plan to be there Nov.5-Nov.12 this year. Hope you have a great time!

schools in NJ are closed 10th and 11th of NOv in 2005. Most will be there that full week. And yes, teachers are required to attend conferences in Atlantic city those days. So off to fun and sun for our whole state..

I dont go that week. I go the week after thanksgiving. I know better...

They may hit some crowds not many though! We are going for Jersey Week and we are leaving the 5th and returning the 12th! So more than likely for 2-3 days of their vaca they may hit a heavy crowd! The kids are off on the 10th which is thursday and the 11th which is friday! So that whole weel from that Saturday the fifth the crowds I'm sure will start appearing until the 12th or 13th! So hopefully that ansewers you're question!

Exactly how crowded does it get that week? I mean am I really going to be fighting some big crowds? I'm used to waiting 2 hours in line (last time I went there was no fast pass and it was the middle of aug) But I'm not really wanting to fight to much of a crowd since the kiddies are going with me!

I didn't wait more than 15-20 mins for anything at all that week. I thought it was great. But we did go early for opening (stayed away from the EMH park the entire day), left at about 1pm for DSs nap, and went back about 4pm to eat and do whatever until the park closed.

The only large crowds were EPcot WS at night (as it always is because that is open latest that time of year).

When we went it seemed that as of the week before all hotels on prop were booked ( I checked because I too didn't realize some kids had off and it was Super Soap Weekend to boot) but I have to say i thought it was great. DS was only 2.5 so we didn't want heavy crowds and we did not have them. I too have been there is August and that time is sooooo much more crowded (like 5-25 times more crowded or more). You'll be fine IMO. It's just NJ.

No, No. I just meant that week only NJ has off and all summer it's EVERYBODY! I'm quite fond of NJ being just over the bridge and do all my tax free shopping there!

You've never been to disney before?? You'll love it! I'm so excited and the weather will be good although since I'm in MS the weather isin't to much different so I'm used to the heat and it dosen't bother me.
We just have to keep our fingers crossed that the crowds really aren't to bad!

All the times I have gone to WDW have been in November. All I can say is BE PATIENT. From what I am told Thanksgiving (the time I went) is one of the busyest (i know I spelled that wrong!) time for WDW. But worry not, I am sure you will be able to do everything you want to do, and of course the magic will still be there!!!

Dh and visited sans children last 10/30 - 11/2. The weather was gorgeous the entire time -- but unseasonably warm. AKL on Saturday was empty. I wish I could say the same for the rest of the parks from then onwards. Not so. MK remained very, very crowded. I know we were there during "Jersey Week," but I really don't remember seeing many school-aged children. Mostly, there were couples without children along and families with pre-school aged children.

We are stay at All Star Movies, and you? It seems as though I am planning the trip for all 8 of us. Whew! What a lot of work for one week of fun!
