Walt Disney Travel Co in the UK - anyone used them?

We really like the 14 day WDW pass they offer - http://wdtc.disneyinternational.com/tickets/
10 days isn't going to cut it for us but we really don't want to spring for an AP.
(still grumpy they don't offer any more than a 10 day pass for NZ/Oz residents)
You are supposed to be a UK or EU resident to book thru WDTC -but we could use the address of friends over there and it is all pretty much internet-based anyway..

Anyone else done this??

I haven't. But a friend of mine has for her family... They got the UK 21 day pass for WDW. We were there with them and they didn't have any problems using it

Oh Saskiwi, please let me know how you go in case I can ever manage to get back there. Over the last few years I have become friends on FB with former school friends who now live in the UK so they may come in handy if I needed to use a UK address!!

My friends did use a friends UK address. They booked WDW accommodation through there too as it was a lot cheaper too.

you can buy the UK 14 and 21 day ultimate passes on undercovertourist...you just have to change the currency to UK pounds ....anyone worldwide can buy them but they are only allowed to advertise them when you select pounds...i emailed them ages ago to ask
as far as i know they can send out to australian addresses and you dont have to show any other uk id to use them

WOW, I never new that and what a fantastic secret

However, just clicked that you have to book your WDW accommodation and park passes through WDW to be able to buy (or ideally get it free) dining plan right? I would never stay onsite without having a dining plan.

I have checked out undercovertourist.com and emailed them to double-check we won't be asked to show proof of UK residency or anything at the gate!

Their 14-day Ultimate pass (includes water parks and more and park hopper options) works out at $US390 vs $US397 for a 10-day pass with those options, on the Disney website! A 21 day is only $US421. Free shipping to Oz/Nz too.

Will keep you posted on how we get on....

We probably aren't going to get free dining offered when we go anyway (May 2013) - it's usually in Fall isn't it? So I'm prepared to risk that. If we were going during a potential free dining period it might be different....!

Just be careful if you were planning to stay onsite and want to buy the dining plan because I'm fairly sure the dining plan is only available to purchase if you have booked your whole package (accommodation plus park passes) through WDW.

Yes, Undercover Tourist are great and send to NZ in quick time. We bought our Universal, Sea World and Kennedy Space Centre tickets from them. The great thing is that they send the actual tickets (although that does mean you have to treat them like gold so you don't misplace them!) rather than vouchers that you have to exchange for the tickets once you get there. This means you can go directly to the park entrance queues
