Is there specific seating for the shows or can you sit wherever you want? How long before the show starts are you allowed to sit? We have the early dining seating. Thanks

Sit anywhere. No reserved seats. Can't say how early the WDT opens since we usually made it to the show about 5 minutes before it started but we had late seating so were going to the early show.

The Navigators mention that CMs will be available to assist mobility impaired folks 30 minutes before the show starts so my guess is that's when they open the theater.

In theory it's 30 minutes beforehand. In practice, in can be closer to 20 or even 15. No rhyme or reason that I've noticed!

But I Have heard getting there a little early is the best practice right? And bringing some cookies to snack on from dinner? :)

And I'll third it. It gets chilly in there.

Bah, humbug! More to pack! I thought maybe I get could away without it but now I guess unless I want to be uncomfortable (which I cannot stand cold so I would be)I will have to pack one. Thanks for the heads up!

Since I never remember to bring a sweater, I usually bring our latest Castaway Club towel to drape over me.
You'll want to get there early if you want specific seats (for example, my hubby likes to sit down front sometimes).

If 72 degrees is chilly, then yes it is chilly. :hyper:

I fight this battle daily at my work. We keep it at 72 because state law specifies work spaces should be kept between 70 and 75 year round, and 72 is pretty close to the middle.

Heck, the shopping malls here used to advertise "it's a great 68 inside".:bounce:

Anyone on this board work at a FAA control center? Lady I know works at one, they keep it at 60 degrees there to protect the computer equipment. If it gets above 65 it triggers alarms!!!

You can get very good seats if you go 20-30 min before the show starts. Lots of good seats were taken when we went 15 min before the show started on the 2nd day. So, I think 20-25 min earlier to the show is good.

It could be chilly in WDT but it definitely was in the movie theater (forgot the name). It's ok for me in the restaurants.

Oh... forgot to mention, there is a blanket in the stateroom. I saw some people brought w/ them to the movie theater. I regreted I didn't bring mine... it was chilly.

Does this chilly temperature apply year round? We would be going in December.
