What attractions could you take a 2 year old along to at WDS part from the Flying Carpets ride? Would the Animagique show be ok? What others ok? Any to rule out (l know the roller coaster is out for DS(2), would it be ok for DD(9)?

Thanks for any info.

Only you realy know what your DS would be like. Our DD happily went on Tram Tour at this age but DS at 3 would not have enjoyed it.

I'd rule out RnR, Armegeddon, Tram Tours (possibly) but fine with the rest :)

I like your moderator symbol Reid!!!

Animagique has lots of Disney Characters- Donald and Mickey, and songs from various films, it is very cute.

princess:.

I am sure any 2 year old would love Animagique.

My 3 year old DD love this and liked the tram tour, the stunt show and the art of disney animation

As for the rollercoaster for a 9 year old it really depends on if they like roller coasters. :)

Thanks for your replies. After reading/looking up a bit more about the roller coaster don't think l'll tell DD(9) it exists. :scared1:

Hi !

It's true that today the WDS in Paris don't offer many attractions for the youngest guests... But next year (release March 2007) a new area will be opened. Toon Studios (a tiny version of toon town) and two attractions : CARS (it will be like mad hatters tea cup but inspired of the movie Cars) and "Le monde de Némo" a ride inspired of the movie Finding Nemo. But for this ride a children who don't have the size of 120 Centimeters won't be allowed to board.

I hope this will answer you (of course Animagique, the flying carpets will be great for un young children)

See U !! :goodvibes

Hi Kolash,

and welcome! :goodvibes Sounds like you will be a mine of information ::yes::

Nice to meet you

Kaye :goodvibes

My 2 1/2 daugther was afraid from Pinocchio (her first dark-ride) and refused to go to any other in darkness but animagique is dark, not scary dark ;) , and was her favorite attraction from the whole resort.
Off course, she loved Carpets and could ride 3 times in a row (not as Dumbo, 3 rows for a time :rotfl: )
She also loved the art of Disney Animation, the first movie with enchained bits from disney's movies is very nice!
At WDS it's easy to have a picture with your favorite character, few crowds in the morning, nobody at noon.
The parade it's very nice too for little ones!

Hi Kolash and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on the discussion on any thread.
If you have a number of questions then it is probably best to start a new thread so that as many people as possible can join in :)

If you know when you are going then post up here or want to tell everyone your birthday then Di will be sure to arrange a lovely surprise for you here

Animagique is an absolute must for all pre-schoolers; it is truly delightful, and is also the kind of show you can do more than once, so see it early on as they may well want to go back. Disney Animation is also a good choice and the Carpets will certainly appeal. The Tram Tour CAN be frightening (more for the 'dragon's breath' than Catastrophe Canyon, we found), so you may want to try to ride that first without your 2-y-o to get an idea. Cinemagique may also work for all of you, but I would agree that Armageddon is NOT a good choice. We have a seen a lot of young children being carried out of their in tears as it is VERY loud and effect-intense. The TV Studios Tour will also be OK as a diversion, especially as there are some interactive things to play with at the end. You should also try Moteurs, Action, but try to sit at the back where the noise (most notably from the gunshots) will be lessened. My youngest (then 3) also found the stunt-biker bursting into flames slightly upsetting, so you may want to let your son know it is part of the show and not an accident! We also found the Streetmosphere acts were a great source of entertainment for all the family, and Studio 1 offers several different acts worth checking out. You will probably find, as we did, that there is a lot more here than initially meets the eye. :)

My Son was nearly 6 years old when we first visited the Studios.

He liked Animagique, but loved Cinemagique (he thinks the Sword is really cool).

He was 1.20 in heights (with shoes) to this time and wanted desperatly to go on RnRC. So the CM proofed his heights and he was allowed to go on.

The Problem was that it was a walkthrough :cool1: and for that reason we both didn´t knew that it is a launching Coaster (we didn´t saw a start). So when it started my son went  for the first time in his life on a coaster.

After that he wanted to go on again to proof to himself that he is as brave as he allways has been, but the funny thing was that he had shrunk in the last 20 Minutes and wasn´t 1,20 anymore (Rick Moranis wasn´t near to us) so was´nt allowed to go on.

But now he is 7 and love this one again. So it depends on your Kid and his heights if you go on or not.

Wow Stefan, your son is much much braver than me!!! I am a total wuss when it comes to coasters, although I will do BTM. :rotfl:
