Walt Disney golf classic??

Hello: I'm trying to plan a trip in October of 2004. Does anyone know the actual dates of the WDW Funi golf classic? Thanks.

click on tournaments , then click on PGA tour then just scroll down. I've got 5 standard rooms for family at BWV for OCT 17 to 22 but are not going to the tournament just F&WF

We've been to WDW twice during the tournament but for other reasons.

Are you planning your trip for the event or around it.

I can honestly say we didn't notice a difference as far as crowds, etc. during our stays.

I was there this past October specifically to see the tournament. It was the largest crowd to see that tournament since its inception!

Crowds in parks seemed much lighter than when we make our usual visits in June/July.

Remember that the Food & Wine Festival is up and running during that week as well as the parks' Haloween festivities.

is particuliarly bad during the golf classic.

We go every year around that time, so if you need a rental, plan ahead.

We've been to the tournament once and are planning a return visit this Oct for the tournament. DH is going to sign up to be a volunteer. I think he will enjoy that and will make the trip "different" enough for him to really enjoy it. This is our long trip of the year. The tournament is really fun and we had a good time.
