walmart thanksgiving day guaranteed items

Has anyone gotten their guaranteed items yet from walmart. I "ordered" the ipad mini the day after thanksgiving and it is still showing in my walmart account that it is being processed. Worried that I won't get the $100 gift card.

DH got an email yesterday that DD's cell phone will be at our local store on 12/22. The last day on the guarantee. Good luck.

I bought the ipad mini also. We have not gotten an email. Online shows processing. I felt like 12/14 was first date available for pickup to allow layaways to be picked up before they have guarantee people coming in. I hope it will not be 12/22 for pick up.

As someone that works at Walmart Receiving the items are starting to trickle in,,we have only been getting a few things at a time. For example I think I have only rec. about 9 of the $98 tvs.

I got an email today saying that my 98.00 tv shipped and will be to my store by the 22nd. I am guessing it will be here before that but the 22nd works for me. Less time I have to hide the darn thing for Christmas morning! Lol

Just wondering if it has been stated anywhere what will happen if the guaranteed items aren't in for Christmas? You know besides everyone who gets shafted boycotting Walmart for the rest of their lives or until the next Gray Thursday/Black Friday promotion - whichever comes first.

Received an email about the 32" tv today. It has shipped and will be here by December 22nd.

They changed the date on my white ipad mini today. It now says "estimated to arrive between Friday 12/20/13 and Thurs 12/26/13."

The 2 black ipad mini's still say "estimated to arrive between Sat 12/14/13 and Sun 12/22/13."

I hope they all arrive before Christmas. I can't give to 2 of my kids without having the third. (Even our toddler is getting a LeapPad Ultra so she'll have one like the older kids).

Okay, I actually searched a bit and found that apparently, if they aren't able to fulfill the item, allegedly they will offer you a "comparable item" at the same price, but if you don't want that you can get a refund. That seems fine for things like TVs being a different brand maybe, though it might mean Walmart taking some pretty big losses.

Interested to see how this plays out.

I didn't get the shipped email or gift card yet. My status says 12/14-12/22.

This happened to us. When we went to register the TV online, they were out of the brand that had been on sale and offered us an Emerson. Not a big deal, but I wonder what they would offer for an ipad?
