I agree that Target customer service has gone down hill the last six months or so.

They currently have a sutton dodge meat coupon good until March 28th. And I tried to use it yesterday and the cashier told me that they had decided in their team meeting that morning that they weren't going to accept the meat coupon anymore this week since so much of the meat is on sale.

I said you can't just decide not to accept a Target coupon -- and she says....

"YES, WE JUST DID"

could not believe it.

Gosh! I'd be having a talk with someone.... they can't just do that!

Hadn't seen this posted yet about Target qs. You can actually print the current Target qs at the gift registry kiosks in the store. Why waste your own paper and ink!! There is an option on the screen to go to target.com then scroll down to the 'grocery coupons' option all the way on the bottom of the page, pick your qs and hit print. They print on blue paper too, so you should get any hassle about them being copies or whatnot. Note, though, this is only for the current coupons. They change out ever 2 weeks but have a 4 week expiration. I print out 2 or 3 every time I go so that I'm sure to have extras in the last two weeks.

Also, this week there is a target q for $1 off Archer farms artisan bread. There are individual size loaves for .99. The register will automatically adjust down the q to .99...FREE BREAD!

And, technically, you really should only be using 1 target q (from target.com) per transaction based on the language on the coupon itself. Not all stores enforce this though.

I had a HORRIBLE experience at Target yesterday and I am the OP so I thought I should share.

The cashier REFUSED to take my coupons. She insisted they were copies... which they were NOT... The manager also refused them. I felt like a criminal or like I was trying to pull one over on them... I would never do that. The cashier got all snippy and pushed my cart out of the way with my 2 babies in it!!! She also threw my manufacturer coupon at me because it would not scan! Needless to say, I wrote a letter to corporate explaining how I was treated.

These were manufacturer's coupons right? Not the target coupons. Each of the Smartsource and Bricks coupons has a unique coupon code on each coupon. They can easily tell just by looking at the numbers that they are not copies. Also, Bricks coupons are part of the Veri-fi system. The retailer can access the system through this website, type in the Veri-fi code and see if the coupon is legitimate or not.

I hope you get an acceptable response. It really pisses me off the way some retailers choose to treat coupon users. And in this economy more and more people will be utilizing coupons. So, they better learn how to be more diplomatic in how they treat their customers. They can't afford to lose customers just like we can't afford to lose the use of coupons.

Just got back from Target and WalMart. Target was ok - but not great. I looked all over and could not find the $2.00 Gillette body wash. I have 8 coupons. I want to use them! The greatest thing that I got was 6 buddy bars for free! That was GREAT! I did also get 3 bags of cheetos for .29 each. Everything else was stuff that I needed.

WalMart was GREAT! I was able to get the Leap Frog didj for $9.97! WOO HOO! I looked at this game while I was at Target, and the price was $79.99! This is gonna go in my DD's Easter basket - to the person that posted that rockin' deal - THANK YOU!

I looked for the Gillette body wash in WalMart too. Nothing. I'm guessing I'm not gonna find it.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this, but I saw it on another thread and I printed it out and went to Target yesterday and got the Bolt DVD for only $10.99. Target has them at the cheapest price right now; this week only. It's $15.99 then use the coupon to get $5 off so it's only $10.99

What internet are you using? I had that problem and I am using Firefox. I found a way around it. Try the following and let me know if it works. I changed the =wi to =wg

Just an fyi for anyone using firefox. For some reason you have to change the bricks coupons to make them print. I was having a horrible time until I did some internet searching. When you have the website up, look for the =wi in the internet address and change it to =wg. For some reason, it works. The same for IE users who try and the address has =wg in it. Change it to =wi.

That is awful! I am so sorry this happened. I am not a professional couponer like some of you but I do use a couple every week. I just can't imagine a cashier throwing the coupon and moving your buggy with your kids in it I would have had a huge BF!

It's in the kids section with the other Leap Frog items. The ages say 6-10. It is a handheld game system that allows you to download games from the computer. I think it's a GREAT gift idea!

I've couponed before but not like I do now, where I really sit down and go over the stores' papers to find the best prices and sales - - and then match my coupons to their promos so I really get the best price possible.

Anyway, I recently had the good luck to have triple coupons at my Bloom and again this week (starting today) at Harris Teeter. I bit the bullet at Harris Teeter today and talked to the store manager before I started off on my triple couponing. I asked her specifically what the policy is if I have a "$0.30 off when you buy 2" coupon that they are doing on a B1G1 free promo. And then they had a buy 10 Pillsbury items, get $4 off instantly. Well, some of their Pillsbury items were B1G1 free, so does the free one count toward the 10 items?

Anyway, I was totally nice about it and she was totally nice back and then when I checked out, sure enough I had some issues scanning some of my internet coupons. That same manager walked over and overrode them with no problem. I think I will continue to talk to the manager first when I'm using confusing coupons or they have a confusing sale/ promo I'm taking advantage of.

So far, the only "huffing and puffing" I've encountered is from the customers in line behind me. I always turn around before I start and warn people I'm using coupons, or offer to let someone with a few items go before me.

It's fun and now it's a game to me to see how big a % savings off the total I can get. I hope to get to the point where I have a basket full of stuff to donate to the shelters around my area.
