walmart near disney?

hi

just wondered how close a walmart is to disney and if there is one close, do they sell disney stuff..ie, clothing, autograph books, photo albums etc. I know the ones in Orlando do.

also we are leaving for LA on Sunday..can someone tell me what the weather has been like...can we wear shorts during the day? how cool does it get at night?

There is a Walmart just a few miles from DLR. It's right off of Rt 5 one or two exits North. We went there to get food supplies for our trip. There was a big selection of Disney stuff there too. They had some cute tees.

We were there last week and the weather was nice. Mid 80's. We wore shorts and tees during the day, but found a sweatshirt nice in the evenings.

The closest is 440 N Euclid St just off I-5 NW of Disneyland.

We prefer going to the one just a bit further at 88 E Orangethorpe Ave. Follow Harbor north from DL, past highway 91 and turn right on Orangethorpe to Lemon St (Anaheim Blvd). It has a large selection of Disney clothes and toys.

We like this Walmart because across the street to the west is the Disney Character Warehouse. It is a Disney clearance center of merchandise from the parks. Both stores offer great discounts on Disney stuff far cheaper than in the parks.

As the pp mentioned there's a Walmart about 3 miles from DL on Euclid. I know the freeways scare some people out here and if that's the case, you can take either Ball Rd or Katella to Euclid.

It's currently in the low 80's out here, but a backside slider is moving in and it's suppose to drop into the high 60's by this Friday. It's then suppose to start warming up again into the high 70's starting on Sunday. A night it's dropping into the low 60's.

If it's Disney merchandise you're looking for, you might also try the Disney Character Warehouse. It's in the Orangefair Mall, a couple miles north of the park on Harbor, just past 91.

It's not exactly a walmart, but I do remember a Target on Harbor Blvd if I remember correctly if you don't want to drive that far.

There is a Target right on Harbor Blvd. I get our supplies there every time we go to DL!

We also get all our food and misc items at the Target on Harbor blvd. It's now a super Target, so they have a huge selection on groceries. Including fresh produce and it's just a short drive down the street from our hotel.

We always go to the super Target on Harbor. It's a really nice store and straight down Harbor, which is easy for us to remember.

Does the Target carry Disney merchandise too??? We are staying at the Residence Inn right across the street from Target and I was hoping we could get some ink pens for our autograph books there and maybe some t-shirts to wear to the park one day.
