walmart laptop deal

does anyone know exactly how much savings you actually get with the walmart laptop deal today? The original price?

DH looked at it and said it didn't have what he wanted and wouldn't be fast enough, etc. DD has it on her Christmas list, so we will keep looking.

That's similar to my DH's response. He said the tv's were only a $40 savings so he was guessing the laptop was even less and we should just keep looking for the exact right one even if it is a little more. Not sure if I agree? Hoping someone might know the starting price of that laptop.

I bought 2 this morning. The electronics person said they normally sell for $379 and are on sale quite a bit for $359 - so anywhere between $71 & $91 in savings per computer.

Mine are being used for internet browsing, a little bit of word processing and music/photo/book storage. Perfect for what I wanted them for. If you're really into gaming and/or need to run programs that eat up a lot of memory, they really won't work well for you.

Sites like techbargains.com and fatwallet do a good job comparing laptop "deals". My memory is they though the BB laptops on sale offered better value then the units being sold by WalMart.

Hi, I bought the laptop this morning,they had plenty of them at the Walmart by me. DH wanted one to use for internet & watching movies. I'm using it right now & I have to say I really like it. Its kind of heavy,but im use to my lil netbook. I was wondering how much they usually cost. I guess it was pretty good deal
