Just stopped at WM and they were bringing out their Summer stuff. I walked through aisles and aisles of clearance items. Clothes for $1, arts & craft for .20-.50, toys for less than $10.

I only went in to get a small toy for a birthday gift and did not have ANY time to really look at the clearance stuff :headache: I was literally running to get the gift and leave - but I did stop to get a Crayola Light-Up Tracing Pad for $9. I will save it for my niece's bday next month!

Hopefully I can go tomorrow and check it out - I had never seen so many things on clearance at our WM.

LOVE when they have the clearance bins - they did this by us a few weeks ago. I got a magnetic dry-erase board for the fridge for $2, a small bathroom rug for $1, packs of post-its, binders and other stuff me and the kids can use for school all marked at 30 cents each. Too bad I'm not a teacher, they had a huge amount of teaching and classroom supplies for .10 to .30!

I got 2 piece PJs for my son $3
Athletic pants $3

Going back tomorrow because the pants were actually marked $7 & $5, but rang up $3

I'm jealous of everyone that has a Walmart near them with good clearance items. My local store has 3 clearance aisles and most of it is either barely marked down (items that were around $5 marked down to $4), or worse items that aren't marked down at all and are full price.

Gonna have to check it out....maybe they will have toys on clearance....so we can get an early start to Christmas this year

I am up near Vail, WM is in Avon.

Oh ok, for some reason I had thought you lived in Highlands Ranch :crazy2: So I figured you went to that one. Oh well, I'll check out the ones down here.

That's exactly how it is here too, Target always has much better markdowns. I see expired H&B items in Walmart's "clearance" all the time.

Same here too

A LOT of the clothes were cheaper than marked. Everything I bought was . . . I scanned them before I bought.

The only place I get good bargains in Target is in the toddler section or the girls section. The boys and womens/mens sections not so much.

Grrr... I may have to stop on my way home today! The grrr is because I am packing, but if I can get anything I need for the new place super cheap, that would still be better!

I live in Highlands Ranch and went to the one off Quebec this morning. They had some decent prices on things like compression shirts for the boys $4, long-sleeve Tshirts $2, girls' shorts for $2, etc. Didn't make it over to the corner near the garden center where they usually keep the clearance stuff - last week when I was there the stuff was not a very good deal, but it doesn't hurt to check back every once in awhile.

This sounds like my Walmart. Everything just sits in the clearance aisle forever.

However...they had almost every pair of shoes in the store on clearance. I got a pair of Danskin Now to wear as gardening shoes for $3 and a pair of athletic shoes for $7.

Went... and there was not much at all at our local one.

I did get a nice wrap dress for $5.

Then I spent $15 each on two nice, long, cotton, spring dresses.

Yea, I don't think I shop clearance too well!
