For those who have had deliveries to your resort, would you recommend, not recommend walmart.com or Amazon.com? Is one better than the other?

I am ordering formula, diapers and water, maybe wipes.

I would look at somewhere local for something like that, I like garden grocer but there are many others :)

I use individual bottles of formula-a lot of local stores don't even carry them so I order from Amazon regularly. With super saver shipping, it is cheaper than the local stores. Garden grocer did not have them last time I checked. And I just searched and realized walmart.com has the formula. I use both regularly for home delivery and have no issues with either one, just wanted to know others' experiences with resort delivery.

thanks.

I used walmart.com in August for a water shipment, and was very peased. I got 2 flats of water - 24 bottles each - for under $9.00. S/H was $0.97 per item, and I think if you order over $40, S/H is free.

I also checked Amazon for water and the prices were VERY high. I think the cheapest "regular" water could find (not Evian, Fuji, coconut water, etc.) was about twice the price of Walmart.

Finally, you can get baby wipes, formula, etc. at Amazon but very rarely can you even find single items of something, usually you'll have to order a 6-pack of something. So, if you're going to use a 6-pack of baby formula, it will probably work out well. If not, you'll have a lot of formula to throw away, or try to pack in your suitcase.

Yes, I noticed the Walmart water was a lot cheaper than Amazon. I use the individual bottles of formula when traveling, so we need a lot of them since we will be there for 12 nights. She eats baby food but I remember my other kids at about this age drinking a lot more and not eating as much in the heat. We had been debating for a long time on getting Amazon Prime and finally decided to go for it so we will be ordering the formula, etc. from Amazon closer to our arrival date. But I am still debating about the water from Walmart.......thanks for your feedback.
