Walmart BF price match... will it work?

I just saw this suggested on another Deals website... Hubby and I are planning on upgrading to Iphone 5c with the Walmart Gift Card deal. Someone said they would price match the Sam's price (.97, or something like that) and still give you the gift card. That never would have occurred to me, but now I'm wondering if that will actually work.

So... anyone know if this is for real? This would make an AMAZING deal!

We asked about them price matching Sams and were told that Walmart does not pricematch other Walmart locations or Sams Clubs.
