I saw the mixers and they are awesome, they will be thrilled. You can wear them according to your hair style so it does not mess your up. The quality of the sound is better.!

I too bought two pairs of the beats solo headsets. I received one Beats Solo and I received one Beats Executive. I bought one pair for my daughter and one for me... So I took the upgraded ones for me. I stood in line for 3 hours that evening so I look at it as my reward. Thank you Walmart!!!!

Picked mine up today. I got neon orange and blue Mixrs. Ebay only shows one set of neon sold in the past 6 months and current listings are so many with no bids and returns to Walmart have to be within 14 days. Probably everyone who got them as substitutes from Walmart. So no headphones for Xmas.

Were you guaranteed a certain color when you purchased the Solos?

No-color was up to Walmart which does stink. My order says they shipped one white pair and one blue pair. Hopefully that is correct-definitely better than orange or green.

And this is why I decided to go to Target and pay the extra $5.

Of course as a side note to the whole beats thing...Middle and Youngest DS and I then went back to look for other items they might like and while we were there they tried them on and compared them to the others that were there. EVERY single pair of sample Dr. Dre headphones (not just the beats) was broken and the sound was crappy compared to the sony's and the skullcandy's and the Soul's. A lady there saw us trying them on and said that she'd had 4 pair of beats for her 17 yo in the last year cause they kept breaking. I returned the beats and got better headphones for less money.

ETA - BTW OP you are the bomb for getting headphones for your niece and nephew. My relatives always bought me clothes. One time I got a toy - a mechanical snoopy bank.

Returned the neon Beats. Bought Sony, now what to do with the Walmart credit. I guess buy stupid crap. I tried to pawn the neon orange and neon blue off to my nieces and nephews but no go. I am stuck with a huge gift card.

I ordered two TVs (I couldn't figure out how to do them together as one order, so they're separate). I've been watching and it says one of them shipped and will be here for pickup 12/19. It's that strange S brand someone mentioned above.

The second still says processing & is listed as Emerson. I'm not sure how I feel about the S brand. I am curious how they consider it an "upgrade" when no one has ever heard of them?

Same here! I originally got an email saying it was a an emerson, then another email saying those were out and I would be getting the S one. In the end I guess it doesn't matter, a 32 inch TV for $98 is a good deal. My DH is hooking it up for our DD right now. Hopefully it will be of good quality.

Some went to Walmart and fought the crowd on BF for headphones that weren't actually even in stock to begin with?

Walmart stated up front that they picked the color of the headphones?

They also stipulated that substitutions could be made?

On top of that, if you didn't want the headphones, you could only get a gift card in return?

I would have definitely passed on this "deal" from the start.

It is my understanding that the store can refund the purchase amount given you have the original receipt. Then your GC is "dead" & the money goes back to the original form of payment. This was explained to me by Customer Service for Walmart.com, my local store manager, the assistant manager when I picked up our stuff and I read it somewhere else online too. (though that is, I think, only if you didn't pick the product up)

Our second TV didnt make it on time. The store had subbed out everything 32" they had to make people happy & could only offer us a 29" Vizio. We took it. 29" Vizio > 32" Emerson, in my book. It's for our children to watch DVDs in their room on weekends & plenty big enough anyway.

They still emailed me a $10 Walmart gift card for the "inconvenience" and to express their sincere apologies. We'll use it at Sam's Club as I have no desire to set foot in Walmart anytime soon.
