Walls up around hub in MK

We leave in 19 days for WDW. Today I watched a video from a guest on YouTube showing the walls up & area drained around the hub. My question is has anyone seen them recently? The video made it seem like the pretty views from Casey's Corner & Adventure land area are temporarily gone and that the hub seems more closed in right now. Making the whole area feel smaller and boxed in. How is it then while sitting/waiting for parades and wishes? I assume it means standing by Casey's Corner for Wishes is no longer a good idea?

They are likely to stay that way until the hub construction is done.

Think of it this way, you get to see what the moat looks like without water. Not too many (ie people who dont go often) get to say that.

Per the easywdw site some of the moats have been filled with water. He predicts construction to be done fall 2015.

But has anyone tried to sit near there for Wishes? Is it more crowded/boxed in as that video looked like? Trying to figure out best strategy for finding a place to sit now where the views won't be blocked.
