Is there a place in the park to find Wall-E? We were looking at youtube videos and came across one of a real Wall-E at Disneyland. Has anyone come across this lately? My kids were going nuts and that is now one of the top things they want to see there. Hmmmm......

I don't think he's ever been in Disneyland. :( Supposedly they're worried he'll run over kids' feet and stuff, but I think a WALL-E that was "grounded" would be almost as much fun, so I don't know why they haven't done it....Sorry!

Yeah I was thinking like how they have Lightning McQueen set up - that would be great!

Last time we were there, we bought a little stuffed Wall-E for DS, and he still sleeps with it every night. Hopefully they at least still have a stuffed Eve to buy, that will have to suffice!

The video you saw is of a test run of the Wall-E made for the Movie Premier, and possible use at the Disneyland resort.

He was never used in the Parks. It is a remarkable robot.... very complex.

They only had a non moving display in California Adventure, which was removed in 2010.

Yep, that was the exact video! And now that you pointed that out, I noticed it said below that it was in the streets of LA, even though the title says in Disneyland. I love Wall-E!

I didn't see any EVE plushes this year, though I didn't look terribly hard. They did have the ornament in my avatar (VERY fragile, though...ironically, EVE's arm broke off and I had to glue it back on!). I was so excited to see it!

Do you have the pressed nickel set? If not, you can check the Penny Arcade if it is open during your visit--I know they used to (and may still) have a machine where you can get a pressed nickel of WALL-E or EVE (80 cents, I believe--3 quarters and the nickel). The only reason I say "used to" is because the whole area is going through some transitions so a lot of the machines are (hopefully temporarily) gone. So there's no guarantee it'll be there, but if it's open I THINK it will probably be there.
