Wall-e

My bf treated me to a trip to the cinema to see Wall-E today(he actually wanted to see it too):rotfl:- really enjoyed it, soooo cute lol- was a little shocked by the price of the tickets and popcorn- suddenly remembered why we dont go to often ;) Anyone else planning to go and see it?

we saw it for free :) 2 weeks ago

the price of cinema food / snacks is shocking!! ( the only time i buy is if i am mystery shopping ! )

i tend to stock up at a supermarket before we go ! much cheaper

i save pigsback points ( www.pigsback.com ) for odeon cinema tickets and use nectar points for vue cinema tickets

i take my boys to see the odeon kids films ( wkend mornings and school holidays) as one adult gets in free ,for each child ticket you buy
£2.50 per child http://www.odeon.co.uk/fanatic/kids/s70

vue do similar but odeon is closer for us http://www.myvue.com/kidsam/

oh and for all you wall - e fans, have you been getting the NOTW and sun newspapers ? for your free album and stickers ? :)

My hubby and I adored this film-brilliant, how can you take 2 characters that barely say 5 words between them and yet they communicate so much and have so much emotion without any expression?

gotta love the Disney/Pixar team oh the cleverness of them!

loved the nostalgic feel of the short before the actual movie and very cute story too.

Completely agree :thumbsup2 I dont think i've ever not been impressed with a Pixar film.

Ohh you do mystery shopping-i bet thats interesting.
Yeah we should go and get munchies from the supermarket b4 we go and there is an asda right next to our cineworld but i never think about it at the time.
Those childrens deals sound good, unfortunately i dont have any children to take to the cinema so it kinda rules me out of getting cheaper tickets lol

I plan on going to see it but will probably go to see Dark Knight first.

We saw it on Saturday in our nearby cinema. The new Odeon complex just opened in Belfast on Friday but when I saw it was going to cost the 5 of us £30 we waited and got it for £19 the next day. (Must check out that website you mentioned Rachie B! Thanks for the tip!)
My DD is called Eve and she was so delighted a character had the same name as her. But she does keep saying "There's ME! It's me!" and there really is no convincing her other wise! :rotfl2:

DW and I saw it on Friday night and loved it! On the way back home poped into TESCO's to pick up a little shopping, and some how a pair of WALL-E and EVE plush toys (cheaper than the Disney Store) ended up in the trolly too. :rolleyes1

We have Cineworld Unlimited Cards and pay £11.99 a month for as many films as you can watch. Considering it costs £7.30 per film, the Unlimited cards do save us money. We are going to see Mamma Mia tonight.

I have an unlimited pass too. Its a massive saving as my mate & I tend to go several times a month & it costs £7.50 in one cinema & £7.80 in another one we use.

Have fun tonight Mamma Mia is fab:thumbsup2

You guys are getting me really excited about seeing it next week :) I best take my tissues lol.

I'd love to see it but think we may have to wait until it comes out on DVD.

Superb, loved it, :woohoo: I thought it was the best Disney Pixar film for a long time, Enchanted didn't really do it for me, Ratatouille was good but this has to be a box office winner. Thoroughly enjoyed it - DS and sister were a bit disappointed with the end, too quick, they were expecting a bit more, I needed a wee by then so probably wasn't concentrated as well as I might. ;)

Well worth the extortionate Cinema entry fees even with Orange Wednesday and the £6.00 for 3 bottles of water, how do they sleep at night. :confused3

i love this film i saw it twice at the weekend dragged bf down twice he he i think its one of the best pixar films ever nothing can beat toystory or nemo though x x

Yes it is true!

It's due for release on June 18, 2010! John Lasseter (who directed the first two) is still onboard as producer. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have both confirmed that they will be reviving their roles as Buzz and Woody :woohoo: . The script features Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy-box friends being dropped off at a day-care center after Andy departs for college.

A little known fact (I hope) was that this script was a shelved idea for Toy Story 2.
