Anyone see it yet? Did You like it?

I saw it yesterday and I thought it was just adorable! I couldn't help but smiling the whole time!

I saw that movie on the Disney Magic at 12:01 friday and to be honest it was horrible. I'm so glad that i didnt spend the money in the theater to watch it. The animation of the movie is spectacular! But the lack of dialog and poor story writing often leaves the watcher confused and leaves many holes throughout the movie. It was so bad i fell asleep...

I loved Wall.E. I never thought a robot could be adorable until him. I don't think it's great for little kids, because most of the movie doesn't have any dialogue, and most little kids won't know what the heck is going on. They certainly won't get the story line. Another reason why it's not great for little kids is because towards the ending, it's really sad. The movie is pretty sad up until the last 30 seconds. There were quite a few little kids crying because the ending seemed to be sad, but suddenly it turns happy.

I saw it yesterday i totally loved it. Thought it was sooooo cute!!
I thought it was a great story and had some really cool themes. :thumbsup2
I think it might be a bit confusing for little kids because of the lack of dialogue, and I'm sure really don't know much about "communication barriers" and all that. But I really liked that there wasn't alot of dialogue, it was something really cool & different for an animated movie.

What plot holes were in the movie? How was the story writing poor and left the watcher consfused? I think you just were confused by it not all watchers.

yeah i agree...i didnt really notice any plot holes either and I thought the movie was well written (even though there wasn't alot of dialogue...it's still well written)

i saw wall e with my friends yesterday. we loved mo cause he was a spaz. me and her just randomly made noises at the end. it was a cute movie.

I loved it, it was cute and had an awesome message to it. I saw wall-e with the the family and my mom and I were like omg this is so going to happen to the world if we don't do something about it. I recommend that everyone see's it at least once so they can understand what could happen to this world and us. Eventhough there wasn't a lot of dialogue it was really funny and wall-e was ADORABLE!

I thought Wall-E was just soo adorable and Eve was soo pretty!

it just made my heart melt when they were dancing through space! :lovestruc

and actually, I didn't notice at all that there was hardly any dialogue. because by both Eve and Wall-E's actions, I could tell what the point or message at the time was.

I havent seen it yet and i really want to soon and my dad said it made like 60 something million dollars!! thats alot for a little robot:goodvibes

I loved, loved, loved it! There was one downside for me though- Wall-E didn't seem to have the "magic" I have come to expect from Disney/Pixar films. I really liked it, but it didn't give me that "dreamy" feeling that you can do anything. Here are my favorite movies from D/P....
1. Finding Nemo
2. The Incredibles
3. Cars
4. Toy Story
5. Wall-E
6. Toy Story 2
7. Monster's Inc.
8. Ratatouille
9. a bug's life

#6 & #7 are really tight though. ;)

I saw Wall-E last Sat.

I now have a new favorite movie. I have a huge soft spot for sci-fi, and Wall-E was just so subtly beautiful, well written, emotionaly connecting, beyond funny and beautifuly animated. There were so many details. I'm baffled when people say they were bored, were they not watching the same movie? Was it not obvious enough for them? Not enough blood and fart jokes?

I liked except for the fact that I don't think that the movie needed to tell kids that the Earth is going get to full of trash to live on...I don't know about you but I am used to the fairy tales and the dreams come true...not the harsh reality of the destruction we have caused the planet...

Thats awesome that you could see it on the Magic. I saw Pearl Harbor when I went on. Did they have the red carpet out? And the paparazzi?

Saw it Friday and I thought it was adorable. I loved the message that it puts out there- especially the one about how if you sit around and don't do anything you'll get fat and lazy; cuz it's true. It's a great subtle message about staying active and I like the more unsubtle message of global warming and how we need to take care of our planet or we won't be able to live on it.

That and the characters were sooooooo cute.

The major plot hole i saw was, why werent any of the other robots working????

Also do you notice how there is an actual person in the movie...????

I think it was because Wall-E was the only one to develop a personality, and perhaps he was just lucky on top of that. The tragic story of the only Wall-E left... less like a plot hole and more like a plot device. There is a difference.

As for the real people, did you not notice the progression from real life to animation in the faces of the previous captains? This use of real people in the past was a stylistic choice to connect us to the people on the ship, and to that future. NOT a plot hole.

Because he collected parts from the other robots. He had an understanding of how to survive.

Real people in the movie is bad because?

The movie wasn't about getting fat from not doing anything or global warming. People got fat because of microgravity and the Earth got so polluted because we just would wait for someone else to clean up after us.

they had been working for seven hundred years. they were all worn out, except wall e who collected parts from them to fix himself. this was explained in the first five minutes when he removes treads from the broken robot to replace his own.

yeah, so whats wrong with the live action? roger rabbit did it.
