So....Who was a fanatic like me and went to see Wall-E yesterday?! Anyone?
I LOVED IT!!! I loved the three main robots: Wall-E, EVE and M-O. They were good! I can't really say to much without giving too much away, but his pet cockroach was too cute as well. I give it an A++!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Hi Craig--
I'm babysitting next weekend and am thinking about taking two of my grandbabies then. I have heard its message is a little dark at times -- Is it appropriate for a 5 & 8 year old?

There were a couple of times when the kiddies were crying, but that's only because they weren't expecting the "villian" of the movie, if you're careful and make sure the kids know ahead of time that there's going to be "some scary" parts, I think they'll be okay.

Thanks -- maybe we'll do a re-do on Kung-Fu Panda instead. The little girl tends to obsess about bad/sad/scary stuff at times (and her parents are gonna be gone for the weekend). We deffo do not need to amp up any stress.

DBF and I went to see it yesterday. It was fantastic! They did an excellent job with the pace of the movie and drawing you into the characters. I'm not sure I'm ready to say I like it more than Nemo, but I loved it no less

Saw Wall-E yesterday night, and loved it and then saw Wanted (with Angelina Jolie) today and loved that for obviously different reasons.

I don't know, I kinda thought it sucked!! Keep in mind I'm sitting there with a 21m/o and 3 year old who get bored easily. Wall*e doesn't talk, its not overly joke-y.... but don't take my word for it, I had to leave with more than half left because my youngest just wouldn't sit still!

Saw it today with my 3 and 7 year olds, and we all loved it. I thought the lack of complex dialogue was helpful for the younger kids -- the message came through via body language and expression. My 7 year old laughed out loud OFTEN, and was very excited about the movie.

DP and I loved it as well. It's a keeper! :thumbsup2

I went with my sister and my two year old niece that usually loves animated movies and the action just wasn't enough to hold her attention. In fact I was sitting around a lot bored looking kids.

I thought it was such a great movie though. I'm feeling motivated to get my duff off the couch and lose some weight!

I saw it the day it came out, it was ok. Did anyone else feel the film was taking on too many social/global/political issues? Stop Polution, Don't Shop At Wal-Mart, Lose Weight, Don't trust Machines. Also if Wall-E and EVE are robots they have no gender, but clearly Pixar assigned sexes for this quasi love story to keep things straight..lol
