walkway from CR TO MK

Hello all. can anyone give me a description of the walkway from the CR to the MK? is it covered/enclosed? or is it an outside pathway? thanks

Hi!

I only walked it once, but its out in the open, and a very short walk...I think about 10 minutes, 15 if you are strolling along slowly...and it is a very nice walk, going by the front of the magic kingdom and walking by space mountain...I do believe you cross a street or perhaps just the entrance to the parking lot? I could be mistaken, but it seems VERY convenient to be able to just walk back to your hotel at anytime for a break or after the parks rather than wait for the boat or monorail.

It's not covered/enclosed. Think of it as a wide sidewalk.

It is very nice though. Once you leave the Contemporary Parking lot, the path runs along the edge of the MK and is very nicely landscaped.

It's a very relaxing, very easy walk.

It was a very easy walk for us, even with my then 4 year old niece after a long day at AK, dinner at Chef Mickey's, heading over for MVMCP. She shunned the stroller in favor of skipping most of the way.

I just returned and I found it eaiser and quicker to walk to MK rather than to monorail (keep in mind that I most often was pushing my dw's wheelchair). The one tricky thing is the street crossing. The button on the way to MK didn't seem to ever make the light change. On the way from MK to CR no problem. It is a lovely walk that at times is directly under the monorail track. Often I would walk to the park and later take monorail back to CR as it is the first stop
