Is the walk to Epcot from Boardwalk very far? I remember them building the Boardwalk and always mean to go and walk around and have not made it yet. So this year we wanted to stop there and have dinner before we go see Illuminations.

no the walk is only about 10 mins. When you go out the International Gateway exit either take the boat or walk up the hill and take the path to the left. Both paths will get you there the left one is shorter.

Nope, not far at all. Its only a few minute walk from the International Gateway.

It's not a far walk at all and it actually a very nice walk! Remember to stop and look around at the pretty views. Me and DH always make it a point to take the walk at least once during our trip! Enjoy!

Definitely take the walk. It's not far at all, and there were never more than a handful of people on the path, so it was nice & quiet (except for my kids, of course). DD was 3 when we did it last & she walked it no problem. It's a nice place to let the kids get out some of that pent-up energy.

Can you get to the Boardwalk without going thru the International Gateway? We were planning on resort hopping prior to MNSSHP on Oct. 20th. We are staying offsite and will be parking at the TTC. Would like to check out the Epcot resorts before heading over to the MK resorts, by monorail, and then MNSSHP. Thanks. :thewave:

You can take a WDW bus from any park to Boardwalk directly or to S/D, Y&B Clubs and walk from there. It's also a nice walk from MGM. You can often park in the Boardwalk lot if occupance is not high, otherwise the guard will send you across the street to a lot.
