Can anyone tell me if it's possible to walk from the HoJo to the Garden Walk, we've stayed at the HoJo before, but we were only there for 6 nights so we really only ventured to DL, DCA, DTD, Mimi's etc.

What about if we head north, anything within walking distance that way, dining, shops etc?

TIA :goodvibes

We stayed at the Quality Inn next to the HoJo and walked to GardenWalk, not a problem.

ETA: We walked the back way along Manchester - not much to see but faster walk.

We walked from Hojo's to the Garden Walk, then up Katella and over to DTD. I guess it really depends on how much you like to walk. It is probably less distance than what you walk around the parks on a given day.

It's good to know it's possible, anything interesting on Katella?

The Angels stadium though my guess is it is 4Km away. I don't know if you would want to see baseball if there was a game anyway. Maybe a convention will be in town?

Garden Walk is really the only leisurely thing you would want to walk to though.

thanks for the reply, sounds like a stroll to Garden Walk is in our future :)

Mostly hotels and motels until you cross Harbor, then it is the Convention Center on one side and DCA behind the fences and foliage on the other. The sidewalk in that area is lined with tall palm trees on both sides, so it was like a corridor, which was pretty cool. That was about the only cool thing, though.

:) at least it wasn't an ugly walk, I'm looking forward to seeing a bit more this trip, we pretty much focused on the parks last trip, this one will be longer with more down time
