Walking Track

Is Deck 4 the walking track on the Wonder? What is the distance for one time around? I know I have seen the answer somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

Also, has anyone ever participated in any of the organized walks onboard? What did you think?

Deck 4 is the "track" to walk on. You have to be careful though because people jog there too! The distance around once is 1/4 mile. I have participated in the organized walk. It was fun, a bunch of people showed up and we all did the walk. You could bow out if you got tired at any time. You should try it.

we did the walk on deck 4 each day (actually 50% of the time we did it in the evening). You really do need to watch out for the occasional jogger, be prepared to move to the side for them to pass.

The first time we took our walk, we didn't realize that we were going the opposite direction of the people doing laps!! Finally figured it out by seeing the posting up on the wall somewhere?? and noticing others all going in the opposite direction!!!! LOL

Also good for a laugh is trying to keep your balance while walking across the front part of the ship "forward"-- as it is quite rough up there & you really find yourself "rocking & rolling" as you're trying to maintain a brisk walking pace.

remember: 4 times around equals 1 mile ---- wonder how many of these are needed to equal the brunch at Palo?????
