Walking to Wyndham Palace Resort From DownTown??

Ads for Wyndham Palace Resort state that the hotel is across the street from DD. Is it an easy walk from DD to the Wyndham Palace Resort and if so can you tell me where in DD to make the crossing? I've read good things about the Laughing Kookaburra Good Time Bar and would like to hit a happy hour there.

It's really across the street. You would cross the street at the corner (traffic light) near the Disney busses. When you get to the other side, you turn left and it's a little ways down the street.

I have read the it is the closest to Downtown Disney, but when I was there in March, I would say that the Hilton is the closest, but the Grosvenor is the easiest to walk from.

The crosswalk to DD is on the Grosvenor's side of Hotel Plaza Blvd. We would cross over Hotel Plaza Blvd from the Hilton, it seemed dangerous. I"m sure we weren't supposed to do it. The walkway from the hilton went farther down the road to the next traffic light, but that seemed farther. Plus, everyone was crossing over Hotel Plaza Blvd. (there is a walkway farther up HPBlvd. but you don't care because this thread is about the Wyndham.)
