Walking to PCH Grill

I feel so ashamed having to ask this... but how far is the walk from the front gates of DL to PPH? I have never been over there before, and was thinking that we might want to eat at PCH Grill (just so we can have the Kitchen Sink for dessert) .

Can anyone give me directions or a map so it looks like I know where I am going when we get there? TIA!

From the center of the esplanade, to the front door of PPH, using the little shortcut through GCH, it's about .44 mile, using mapmyrun.com.

The shortcut means that you go into DTD, then directly after Sephora (on the left) you turn in the big gates to GCH. Follow the path around, go in the sliding glass doors, follow the indoors path, get to the lobby. Turn right to go out the pretty (and big) sliding main doors of GCH, go along the sidewalk along the driveway, cross the street, and go to PPH.

You can actually cheat by a few yards and go in the door that you'll see after you pass the big windows that look into (or out of, depending on where you are, LOL) PCH Grill, instead of walking the rest of the way to the main doors. But if you've never seen PPH you might as well go in the lobby.


If you don't want to cut through the GCH, you just walk all the way through DTD, point yourself towards DLH, then turn left before you get to the grounds. Walk along the path and you'll see PPH, and you'll end up entering the side-ish of that building, and then you can find your way to the hotel.

The GCH path is more pleasant for me.

There is another way to save you some steps as well. You walk through DTD before the DLH, and just pass the Compass Bookstore there is a little street. A stretched out golf cart is there to shuttle guests back and forth from the PPH. It will drop you off right at the entrance of the PPH.

You can also use the monorail if you happen to already be in the park. I believe it drops off by the DLH and then it is a short walk to PPH.

But....but......unless you're gonna have ice cream for breakfast (not a bad idea at all), then you could ALSO get to the PPH by entering DCA & working your way to the secret entrance of the GCH (picking up a Soarin' FP & riding Griz Rapids along the way). Thru the GCH & across the street to the PPH.

Then after devouring the Sink....back thru the GCH into DCA to ride Soarin', see Crush & stuff on your way back to DL!!!

While I do enjoy me some ice cream for breakfast..... We won't be arriving until mid-day. I know we are probably going into the parks that afternoon/evening, but it will probably be DL first. I haven't yet figured out all the details yet.

Yep, if you're already right in Tomorrowland, this can be a fun way to get there.

Interesting; I've seen security people in the golf carts, but they never offered us rides! On our first stay at PPH we made the mistake of following the signs (instead of doing the GCH shortcut) and walked that walk the whole time...ugh. If only a golf cart driver had given us a lift!
