Walking to Epcot

Hello everyone, this trip we are staying at VWL and then BCV, and we were wondering this question. We know we can walk to EPCOT through the countries, that entrance but the countries open later then the front part of Epcot, how do we get there then? Can we still use that entrance into the countries even if they are not open yet? Thanks!

You'd better check for sure, but I believe you can walk through the World Showcase to get to the front part of EPCOT--Spaceship Earth, Inoventions, etc. If not, you'll need to catch your bus to EPCOT and use the World Showcase entrance after World Showcase opens. Your resort will be able to tell you hours, based on your travel dates.

You will be able to walk to Future World, going through UK and Canada. CMs will be around to keep you on the right track.

FYI, there are no buses from the Epcot resorts to the front of Epcot.

If it is before World Showcase opens, you cannot cross the bridge to France. There will be a castmember there directing you through UK and Canada. It's very peaceful walking through there in the morning.

I love the early morning walk through when there is really no one around!

My husband and I love taking this walk. One of the best perks of staying at an EC resort. We are about 60days to our stay at the Dolphin. It cannot come soon enough.

Although you can walk through Epcot through the International Gateway, the gate "guards" castmembers will not let you go in a second early. I found this out the hard way last year. (If you have a PS at the Princess Breakfast in Norway, they will check thier list and let you in...)

Isn't in great to stay so close to Epcot, though?
