Walking to DTD from Buena Vista Palace

I was wondering what the best route to take was when you're walking from Bueana Vista Palace to DTD. Is there a way to cross Club Lake Dr. (?) from the bus stops or do you need to go to the intersection of Buena Vista Dr. and cross there?

I recommend going to the corner by Buena Vista Drive, because they have the crossing lights and crosswalks there. Florida drivers don't stop for pedestrians unless they absolutely have to, so it's not worth the risk to cross without them.

Obviously you should always cross at a light for safety. That said, during our previous stays at that resort, we were often able to cross over right from the hotel grounds to the area where the DTD buses load. We wouldn't run or anything, but if it was clear as far as we could see, we wouldn't bother to go to the light.
