Walking Shoe Review

I ordered a pair of Mizuno Ronin 3 racing flats for race walking. I have been wearing the last years model and this one is much better. It fits like a glove without giving me that "to tight" feeling that a lot of shoes do. It has good heel padding and adequate padding over the rest of the sole.

I wore them right out of the box for a 10 miler and they felt great. I wasn't sore at all today when I did a brisk 4 miler in them. So far I'm very impressed.

Just read your post. I will search net and take a look. My concern is that I mid strike not heel so need padding. What do you think?

John, I think you will be pleased with the padding. I get my shoes from the running warehouse and use the WISHRACED discount code. That makes them $67 on the road and they retail for a $100.

Dave, sounds GREAT. Think I will wait until DW gets back from watching 4 Grandkids and put an order together. Price sounds reasonable to give them a try.

John, order a half a size larger than you normally use. My are perfect in that size and that gives me some room for foot swelling during long distnace events. Another plus is they are black with just small orange accents so you can wear them with casual clothes. Normally the racing flats are bright colors and you really don't want to wear them other times.
