Walking Saratoga Springs To Downtown Disney

We are planning on leaving the parks to eat lunch at Downtown Disney. I know there is not a bus that takes you directly from a park to Downtown. Am I correct in thinking that the shortest investment of time would be to take a bus from a park to Saratoga Springs and walk to Downtown Disney? Looking at a map, Saratoga Springs looks to be pretty spread out. Are there numerous bus stops; any stop bring you close to Downtown? Thanks.

It depends on where you would like to eat in DTD. There is a path at either end of DTD. The west path is closer to the Carriage House and is somewhat long. That will take you to the West Side. The east path is closer to Congress Park and finished up right near the Rainforest Cafe area.

Well the SSR is the closest to DTD but it depends on the bus timing. Sometimes I have waited up to 30 minutes for an SSR bus to arrive. Another thing to think about is the SSR bus makes several stops through out the SSR resort. So you could take the SSR and walk over but I wanted to give you the, "what might happen" along the way.
