We're thinking of doing a split stay with RPR and CB. But we're wondering how much further the walking path/route from CB will be. Does that path/route go past the RPR? Is there a map or an overview shot that will show where the path/route is located?

Thanks for the help!

We did the walk from nearby Aventura and felt like it was just a little bit too long for us, but we were also a bit worn out already and it was in the middle of the day. In cooler weather and with a fresh let of legs, it probably wouldn't be too bad.

I know some people choose to walk across the street to Sapphire Falls and use the water taxi from there to avoid the long walk. This is why sometimes the water taxi line for Sapphire Falls at City Walk is longer than others - there's Cabana Bay people in it too.

You can walk through Sapphires convention center hall area that connects right into Royal Pacific and go the RPR's boat as well (all in A/C btw).

I can't imagine walking to CB after a long day in the parks. Even taking the ferry to SF (back when it was open) and walking to CB was tiring. The only reason we didn't just take the bus was that we really enjoyed the boat ride.

It was our biggest regret when we stayed at CB.
three very tired kids. Hubs and I do theme parks often and the walk was too much at the end of the night. Felt like I was walking from world showcase in Epcot to the farthest lot in the parking lot (and maybe then some).

they have a bike taxi thingy, but we had a stroller.
0/10 do not recommend as it will impact your theme park strategy

having stayed there in 2019 the busses were prompt and always quick. We never had a wait, and there were times I figured for sure we'd wind up waiting. No way would I make that walk. Now to Volcano Bay it's like 5 minutes, and I walk slow (middle aged and bad knees).

Everyone is going to have different opinions on walking from Cabana Bay to the parks. I stayed their in October hoping I could take the boat from Sapphire, but with Sapphire closed, no boat. So we walked some days, bussed other days. We used a throwaway at RPR one night so we walked to RPR, checked in and then boated to the parks. It's a nice walk - less than a mile.
