Walking Music

I'm going to ask a friend to make a CD for me to listen to while walking. I'm looking for some ideas on great walking songs.

I like 'Stayin Alive' by the BeeGees!

Any other ideas?

I am looking for ideas as well!!!! If I loose 2 more pounds by the end of the month DH said he will buy me a CD player or else an mp3 player!!!! So I need song ideas!!!!

I am looking right now at some songs by Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, AC/DC, etc!

I have her 2 greatest hits CD's and the upbeat songs have so much tempo and really get you moving!!!

I bought an Archos MP3 player that holds over 500 CD's so I can pick anything I'm in the mood for. I also download stuff and I have the audio to practically all of the Disney attractions plus movie songs. I like to listen to Hawaiian music (or Calypso if I'm thinking about the cruise). Basically I listen to anything that makes me feel warm.

That reminds me. My MIL gave me a walkman cd player for Christmas, I need to find it and pick some good music for walking.

Starwood, can you recommend any Hawaiian songs? I downloaded some using Limewire, but I didn't know how to find them, so I just used "Hawaii" and "Hawaiian" as my keywords. If I had some titles to use it would be great!!! TIA if you can supply me with some!

I have a SHAPE walking cd that I burned - it's 70s music (Shake your Groove Thing, Funkytown, etc) - it's good. I also have a Walking to the Classics, it's at a 4.0 mph tempo I belive and it's very relaxing. I also have the BeeGees greatest hits!

I listen to alot of christian music too. I like Michael W. Smith's Worship and Worship Again and Songs 4 Worship for wallking/jogging.

We went to Hawaii many times before DS was born. I really like the music of the Brothers Cazimero. They do a version of "Rainbow Connection" in Hawaiian.
