walking from WL to Ft Wilderness

I heard there was a path that connected the 2. Is it a long walk?
I'm hoping to be at Ft. Wilderness in Feb and want to go to Whispering canyon one night for dinner. Is it lit too?

Also, anyone here ever camp the end of Feb there and how was it? Thanks!

It is about a little over a mile down a wooded path. The walk is not bad, but it is very dark at night.

The walking path is a little over a mile and it is a very pleasant walk, I always do it in the morning and see lots of wildlife, the one path is paved and is sometimes used by the golf carts from FW. I would say that you probably could walk down for dinner, then catch the boat from WL to FW that way you would not have to walk down in the dark, or you could take the boats both ways.
The path is not lit.
