Walking from Surfside or Dockside

I know these properties are pretty close together but are either of them walking distance to anything on International Drive.

We are planning in advance, hoping international travel will open for us in the next 12 months or so. We would be arriving off an international flight pretty late at night, staying 2 nights and leaving early on our last morning for a cruise. This essentially gives us one full day to utilise the pool, get over the jetlag, and have a nice meal out. We are not interested in staying near the port.

We see many people walking from that area and even slightly further down onto I Drive when we are driving around.

It is completely walkable, both hotels sit on the junction of Universal Boulevard/I Drive so you are at the top end of I Drive which arguably isn`t the prettiest part. But, you wouldn`t have far to walk down further, shouldn`t take long to get to Icon Park where the Orlando Eye is. They have many food otions there and you`ll pass plenty too.

Check out Google Earth and you`ll see how close those hotels are to many options for you.

Thanks for the information: Looks just what we need. We are planning to go back to the RPR after the cruise so this should do us nicely for that first 2 nights,
