Walking from Pop to A of A to eat?

We will be checking in to Pop around 6:30 pm and thought that we would go over to Art of Animation to eat dinner and look around the resort. We are planning to stay at Art of Animation next year and would like to explore the resort a bit. Can we walk over from Pop or will we need to drive? Has anyone else eaten there and what do you think?

the bridge is right there and should be able to walk over to POP. is not that far at all they have had it closed while they were working at AoA

Well, I haven't stayed at Pop since AoA opened, but I will be staying at Pop in November, while my sister will be at AoA. I am planning on walking over to AoA using the bridge. I have heard the food over at AoA is good...but I liked the food court at Pop, so not sure what I will try at AoA...mostly want to go over and check out the resort.

We were at Pop in July and walked over to AoA when we got there...just follow the bridge.... We loved the hotel and the outdoor decorations...we didn't eat there our first night, but we did go back another night and we personally found the AoA food court lacking...NO CHICKEN NUGGETS ON THE KIDS MENU....lots of choices for adults but the kids menu was pizza, burger or turkey sandwich...other than the food court, we loved the resort and will be going back with the family next year and will just either deal with the food court or walk over to the Pop food court....while there, we were told by one of the young cast members to be sure and check out the murals on each floor where the elevators are....he said they were all great and each different...

Great idea! You're going to have a fun time visiting AoA. There is a bridge that crosses the lake from Pop to AoA. It's called Generations Bridge.

It's a beautiful walk, and not too long either.

AoA has wonderful and delicious food choices, so don't worry about dinner.

Yes,Generation Gap Bridge was finally opend EARLY on May 31.

You can also walk from POP to AoA via the walkway around Hourglass Lake-it is open on the "Cars end" of the lake,but not yet on the "Little Mermaid end" of the lake.
