Can anyone tell me where I can find a map that shows me how to walk from Epcot to MGM? I would like to try it sometime but I would really like to see on a map exactly how to do it just like walking from Swan to Epcot.
Thanks!

I don't know if there is one map. If you look at the maps for EP, Boardwalk & MGM you can see where they all connect. It's really very easy.

Exit EP throught the International Gateway, go left toward Boardwalk, follow the boardwalk/water around & keep going. It is a bit of a hike IMO but totally do-able.

You can also take the boat from the IG. You probably won't get there much faster but at least it is leisurely.

I agree it's a very nice walk. You really can't go too far wrong, because all the paths come back together again.

My family often takes the IG exit (it's between France and the UK in world showcase), and stays right toward the beach club. We stop and Beaches and Cream and get some ice cream for the "road", then walk around the lake. The path continues down with a sign "To MGM". You'll stay on the side of the canal and come up where the buses (not WDW but charter buses) drop off large groups for MGM.

To me, it's much harder to find when you're leaving MGM. Then you come out of the exit, and veer to the right. If you follow the water, you'll find the path.

Enjoy the walk!

It takes about 15 minutes to get to the S/D from the IG. We love this walk. It's very simple...just head out the IG, in between France and England, through the turnstiles, keep going straight. You will go up an incline...if you go left over the bridge you will get to BW, if you just keep going straight, you will pass by BC, then YC, (both on the right, with the lake on your left) then a bridge that will get you to the S/D. If you do decide to go left at that first bridge, and get to BW, you can still just keep going and you'll be at the S/D also..it's just a big ole loop, with a few bridges.

This will show you sort of the way to go..hope it helps.

Exit Epcot between UK and France and just follow along the water. If you go left and you will walk past Boardwalk and be on the opposite side of Yacht and Beach Club, if you walk right you will walk past Yacht and Beach and be on the opposite side of Boardwalk. Either way, you will end up following a path to MGM. Very easy and a nice stroll (unless it's really hot). You can also take a boat.

At a reasonable adult place, it will probably take about 25 - 30 minutes for this walk (and will definitely be faster than taking the boat from IG to MGM). It is great fun to do - I try to do it at least once each trip.

I usually stay at the Swan or Dolphin, and often walk to Epcot or MGM - but I've never walked from Epcot to MGM. For that I take the boat. :)

It's great at night..and then you can always walk back and enjoy the boardwalk at night!

We're big walkers, and it takes us about 25 minutes to walk from EPCOT to MGM. I'd say the average pace is closer to 35-40 minutes. But I will say that we've beaten the boat every time we've done it.

It's a 30 minute Friendship Boat ride from the IG to MGM (and vice versa). So, depending upon how fast you walk, it's about the same time. Some walk it faster, some slower. But the FB is a more relaxing way to get from park to park :boat:

We have often stayed at the Swan, and walking to IG we've often beaten the boat, since the boat makes several stops, you might have to wait for the boat, and the line might be long enough that you don't get on the boat at really peak times. Going to MGM though we've always taken the boat. You have to cross a bridge near the Swan to get to MGM, and then you are walking on the far side of the canal to get to MGM. The boat also goes directly to MGM from the Swan, and the path is just not that scenic. (The walk from the Swan to IG is very pretty - regardless of whether you go via the BWK of the BC. It's especially pretty at night.) Usually, it seems more of a toss up timing wise to walk to MGM - coming from the Swan. From the far side of the water, it's not that bad to walk, but you can always bail and hop on the boat partway.

Well, there was the night that I had to see the end of IllumiNations, and then wanted to see the Osborne Family lights before MGM closed....made it in 18 minutes...Now my dd wasn't too happy with me since her legs aren't nearly as long as mine, but we made it. Usually it takes us about 8 minutes to get from the IG to BW, and then about 15 or 20 to get to MGM.
I think we have actually taken the boat from BW to MGM just once. That was when it was incredibly hot/humid...no way was I making that walk in the sun.
