How long does it take to walk the route and where is the route?

Trying to make it to Canada for a ressie at Le Cellier after the Fantasmic show. Fantasmic show @ 6:30 and Le Cellier ressie at 8:15pm.

I can do it in 20-25 minutes. Walking is faster than the boat.

If the boat happens to be at the DHS dock then it is worth taking it to the Dolphin and then walking form their IMO.

Its a longish walk. Its doable but you might be pushing it!!!!!

Basically, if you're at the Studios - go out the exit like normal. Instead of going immediately right to the Trams or a little later right to the buses, or left to the boat, keep going straight until you run into the railing, then walk to your right around that. You'll go by some of hte non-Disney bus parking, and then the path kind of dips down to go next to the water. That's the one you want.

If you want to 'see' it - you can ride the boat first, because the path just goes along the water.

We do the walk all of the time. I'd say 25 minutes is a good estimate to get from the DHS entrance/exit to the International Gateway of the World Showcase.

If you give yourself 30 minutes to get to the Canadian pavilion, you should be fine. But a lot depends on how fast you walk. The 25 minute time would not be a casual stroll. That would be more like "getting to the next attraction in the park walk." Maybe at a 3.2-3.4 mph gait. Hope that helps. If you have small childern with you and it is towards the end of the day, I would opt for the boats or maybe boat to the YC and then walk.

we like to take that walk**after**a meal!! but i agree--it is definitely faster than waiting for the boat.:yay:

I posted this same thread on another board about 2 weeks ago. We have an ADR at Italy at 8:25 that we want to try to make it to after Fantasmic.

By overwhelming response everyone said walk rather than take the boat. It is about 30 minutes at a leasurely pace, then whatever the walk would be from International Gateway to Canada.

Coming out of DHS keep going straight out and you'll see the path right by the water. Just keep the water on your left. Keep going to the end at Boardwalk and turn right to go to the lagoon in front of Boardwalk. You are now on the Boardwalk and just walk around it past ESPN Zone over the bridge and head right to the International Gateway. Real easy actually.

The boat from DHS to Epcot takes a half hour, not counting the time you have to wait for the boat.

If the boat is at the dock, you'll be OK taking the boat. If you have to wait for it, or if the boat is swamped by crowds coming out of Fantasmic, the best way is to walk it. If you have small children or somewhat mobility impaired party members and have to wait for the boat, you could have trouble. I would exit the boat at Yacht/Beach (the second stop) and walk it from there if time gets to be a problem

I agree with all of this 100%.

One tip: if you do walk, you can cut a few hundred yards (and a couple minutes) off the walk by cutting off the path just past the tennis courts, walking to the main entrance to the BWI from there and then talking the stairway outside the BWI main entrance down to the Boardwalk. From there, just continue on to Epcot.

30 minutes at a leisurely pace may be pushing it a bit. In addition, that 30 minutes is really from edge of parking lot to the entrance. I would say 30 minutes at a brisk pace, IMHO.
