I just read that there is a walkway or path from CSR to the All Star resorts & that you can get to Blizzard Beach from it. Is this true? How far a walk is it from BB to ASsp? Thanks!

OK, I'll give this one a whack...

We stayed at ASMu last June, and drove along the sidewalk of which you speak. The sidewalk basically begins at the All Star resorts, follows the road towards CSR (passing the big McDonald's along the way) and continues to Blizzard Beach.

We seldom saw anyone walking along the path, as it would be quite a hike from All Stars. It's probably not too bad from CSR. Of course, the heat would have a lot to do with how nice the walk would be. We did see a few people riding bikes on the path, as well.

I was wondering the same thing about the disntance from ASMu to BB and the mini-golf course. So...I guess a cab would be best for both then.

Thanks!!

We're thinking of going to BB first thing one morning & I thought it might be nice to put the baby in the stroller, pop into McD's for Breakfast, and stroll to BB. Then we'll take the bus back, of course. But I don't want to get started on a walk that will take an eternity. Do you think it is over 2 miles?

I just looked at the Google Map. The ASSp looks close to Blizzard Beach. Now that I look at the map, I can see that CSR is nearly directly across the street from BB.

My guess is that it's about one mile. BB looks close on the map, but you have to walk around to the gates, which are near the parking lot.

Here's a link to a map I have customized. I drew a line that denotes the approximate location of the walking path.

You are the BOMB!!! I never thought to go to Google satellite. Thank you. I think that walk is definately in our future. What grade do you teach lit to? My BIL has a PHD in English and teaches lit at a university. Perhaps I should re-write this post & quote Milton? "What in me is dark
Illumine,"

Anyway, thanks.
