Walking from Anaheim Islander to PCH Grill

Has anyone walked from the Anaheim Islander to Surf's Up with Mickey? We're trying to figure out if we need to drive to our character dining experience or if can walk it. Looking at it on MapQuest, it looks like there's a busy highway, but I can't really tell. I figured it would be easier to decipher just by asking you helpful folks!

Straight down Katella and right on Disneyland Drive to the PPH. All city roads with sidewalks. Easy peasy.

Never done it but Google maps says 17 min walking time and .08 miles.
