We stayed at the RI SW over Christmas, and I would not have walked between any of your locations above. The roadway can be very busy and its just not pedestrian-friendly enough for me. The distance would be a fair hike as well....and when you are planning all that walking at the theme parks or waterparks, for us, adding a walk to and from the hotel would be wayyy too taxing.

The hotel offers a very convenient FREE shuttle to all locations that would be a safe and reliable alternative to walking.

Of course, YMMV!

Thanks! I didn't realize google maps did walking directions. Walking and driving are so often different with shortcuts and paths.

Ok I think I'll plan on the shuttle. We will have a car but I was thinking sometimes maybe me and one of my girls would want to go back in the evening while my dh and youngest stayed at the hotel. We walk 45 min to school every morning so we're used to walking but with the amount of walking we'll do all day it might be a bit much.
