Walking distance from portofino

This will be our first trip to universal staying at the portofino next week during spring break ... Just wondering what the walking instance is from the hotel to the parks and Citiwalk.. We usually stay at the swan and dolphin or boardwalk in Disney and enjoy the walk to Epcot each day. That's about .6 miles from swan. Is the distance about the same form portofino to the parks? I know the water taxi s always available but it's nice to have the option to walk .. Thanks

That is a great comparison. If you walk along the pathway it is probably about the same. If you take the shortcut through the HRH parking lot it is shorter.

Its pretty comparable.FWIW we often walked it and beat the boat a few times.The boat takes a few mins to dock, sits a few mins to load and then it goes.

Right now I have an APH rate booked at PBH. I also have a price for the RPR package with the breakfast and tickets included. I stayed at RPR before and really liked how close it was to IOA and CityWalk. If we decide to stay at PBH, will it be a lot further to city walk and IOA than from RPR?
I'm hoping a APH rate will come out for RPR. That will make it even better.

It is further yes, but honestly it is not all that bad..It gives PBH a secluded , "away from it all"feel
