Walking Between Resorts?

Universal and Royal Pacific Resort Veteran here - but had a quick question for you. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I am fairly new to the boards. My daughter is 8 and she is in the explorer mode and wants to go check out the other hotels when we are there in July. Are there walking paths from the Royal Pacific to the Hard Rock and Portofino? Or from CityWalk? I am assuming they are but I never really looked for them before. Any idea how long of a walk they could be and can we as Royal Pacific guests use their pools and such? Thanks very much for the help!

We walked every day from Hard Rock to the parks everyday when we were there. It took about ten minutes to get there in the morning, enjoying the plants and the view, and about twenty to get back after the parks closed. There are great trails around the HRH with beautiful flowers, trees, and gardens. I am not sure about the Royal Pacific, though.

From Royal Pacific, you have to walk over past Universal Studios to the beginning of the walkways for Hard Rock and Portofino. The walking paths are beautiful.

2nd this..Beautiful paths should take about 20 mins or so to get to portofino which is where the path ends

Yes! You can use the pools at the other resorts however, it is still up in the air as whether or not you can use Cabana Bay's pools once the Lazy River is open there. All 3 resorts have wonderful pools!

I would say that the walk from HRH to US is less then 10 minutes, and less then 10 minutes from HRH to PBH. The walking path is along the water where the boats go, easy to find. You will enjoy it. If you are too tired to walk back, then you can either take the boat to Citywalk and transfer to the RPR boat, or catch a pedicab.

there is a thread from this weekend where a poster stated they could not use the Cbay pools.
they were staying deluxe onsite and their hotel key card would not allow them access thru the gate.

looks like it is the rule that there are restrictions on guests using Cbay pool and lazy river when staying at one of the other three hotels onsite.
