Walker mobility or Care Medical

Could someone please share their recent dealings with either of these companies. Positive or negative. Would you rent from them again? I will need to rent a manual wheelchair, walker, and elevated toilet seat. Thanks in advance.

Hi and to disABILTIES!

Care is a full-service medical durable goods company. Walker is strictly rental of mobility equipment.

I think that Walker only rents ECVs and wheelchairs, so you would probably need to use Care Medical.

Since you are asking about a raised toilet seat I will assume you are staying at a private rental villa. If you are staying at any hotel you can just tell them you need an accessible room with grab bars and an elevated toilet, but not a roll-in shower.

Also, if you have someone who needs a walker, why not bring it with you? You can specify, if you rent an off-site wheelchair, that you need one that cn carry a folded walker if there is need for it.

We have used Care for 5 years and have always had great service.

Same here - I've done well with Care Medical. I had a couple problems like a flat and a battery that was not great, but they always found me and fixed the problem.
